Project Faultless, Nevada; low pass around Ground Zero

Site of Project Faultless near Warm Springs, Nevada. Project Faultless is the largest ever underground nuclear test on public land. The device with a yield of 1 megaton, 67 times the energy of the Hiroshima bomb, was detonated on January 19, 1968. This video, recorded on 07/17/2018 shows the steel pipe used to insert the nuclear device into the underground test chamber. The top of the cylinder was level with the ground before the blast.
