- Breakdown EP 19: There is more to explore with the sumbrada drill utilizing the abaniko (abanico) strikes. This requires a lot of coordination and quick reactions to pull it off and keep the flow going. This drill is based from the Serrada Escrima style of FMA.

Thanks, but this drill is nothing to new to the advanced folks in FMA. Only shown to us when we were at the level to learn it.

Thank you, it's confusing and difficult when we first learned it, but once you drill it and practice it a few times it eventually clicks.

I like that training I was taught that but our sumbrada we do a number 5 it’s a stab with a upside down block from other partner
Every style has their own version or interpretation, the importance is the essence of the technique that can be applied to whatever you do.
