I still come back to this video, it's one of the reasons I draw honestly. I don't remember who showed me this in school, but it was so motivating it's the reason why I create today. Thank you.
It’s a great piece, but to me it also highlights team and group effort-- there’s SO much work involved in creating this piece and the group of people who conceived it really went overboard in the effort department for which I’m truly grateful.
this is the most disturbing, yet creative video I've ever seen.
Haha I remember when this like first came out and it still is
Not cool though he painted over other peoples stuff 😡
Anna Walker what if he had permission to do it
@@annawalker3579 it was going to rot anyway....what have you contributed?
I don't know what to say. I just feel it: mind-blowing!
First you're like "7:26", never gonna watch it all ! and then you're hypnotized. Such a high level creativity and painting movement talent. Thanks BLU
Thanks for sharing your acid trip buddy, and turning it into art
ToxLock PvP basically..o.o
ToxLock Yay 😂😂😂😂
2020 and I still remember this, watching 12 years ago
This was the video with which my art teacher convinced us that there are no limits to what you can do with art as long as you're not lazy and I'm grateful for it since these animations are, to this day, what push me to persevere and put time into my art
Amazing work
yooo this must have taken so long!! this was amazing!
my thought exactly -- the planning -- getting up on a ladder; filming; whitewashing over it, painting one more frame; filming whitewashing over it etc etc ... times 100,000. Must be incredibly disciplined to pull of something like that -- can't even imagine ....
Holy crap its been 11 years since I've first seen this.... I feel old..
Me too
Me too what the heck XD
Man, I found this through the video podcast, “Best Of UA-cam” back when you had to plug your iPod touch into you computer to get new podcasts.
This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen.
This reminds me of that game called "Plug 'n' Play."
Ikr
same
but weirder
okay what who flagged that one guy's comment as spam?
I was thinking the same thing while watching this
This video was shown to me in art class when I was 4 years old and it's haunted me for over a decade without knowing what it was called! I've only just found it with the help of some kind people on the Internet and watching it back I'm able to appreciate the beautiful animation. Thank you for taking up a part of my brain for the majority of my life!
This reminds me of Cyriak
That's what I thought to 😆
How do I find you everywhere o.o
i was about to comment that until i saw your comment you know what who cares i'm gonna comment it anyway... but still i was thinking that too lol
After all these years, this clip is still in my fav playlist since 2008.
Wow this is incredible. Must have taken forever. Respect.
Well, that was... I actually have no idea what that was.
Does anyone know how long this animation took to make??! O_O
just when you think its over, it just keeps on going!
This never gets old... love it so much.
This what art should be, disconnect us totally from real world.
yeah
Nope, 'real world' isn't real.
Your channel is awesome :D

11years and This is the most creative work of art I have EVER seen! 2 years from now and it'll probably pop in everyone's recommendations and is sure to go viral!🔥🔥
Man it's been a good minute since I've seen this! Was obsessed with this animation when I was 10-11 years old during UA-cam's infancy. The nostalgia hits hard and brings back various memories of a golden age
The aspect that really struck me at the time was how it breaks preconceived notions of what something can and can't do or be, similarly to animator vs animation, stretching boundaries that only exist because we think they're there.
Related: lateral thinking
it's been 9 years already huh?
now 12 lol
Fuckin hell mate...
From my interpretation of this animation from beginning to end it seems we build up and grow off one another but eventually there will be some of us who will come along and create inferiority and destroy one another. This artist is a genius for this animation. Someone else may have a different assessment of what the artist is saying.

I love this video been watching it since I was a kid and just now come to realize it's in my city Buenos Aires.
I saw this for the first time in middle school, 14years later this work still amazes me! It always gave me the same uneasy vibe that Titans from Shingeki no Kyojin give, I wonder if Hajime Isayama has seen it, considering this video is as old as the manga it could have been a source of inspiration for him, who knows
Shits so old, i remember when it first came out haven't watched it in years
Well... I don't think I'll be sleeping anytime soon xD
Your not alone my friend.😴😳😱😨😰
Yeah this cool but REALLY creepy as well
Man, I loved that. That’s some of the most creative stuff I’ve seen in a long time, and I work in the vfx industry. My hats off to you and your team.
11 years later and this video is still very impresive to watch!
Blu is definitely one of the greatest artist of our time.
corridor anyone?
Yass ;3
yep...UNITE!
me to!
Hope you're liking the playlist!
hi corridor people :)
This is honestly an amazing work of art. You deserve so much more subscribers.
My jaw dropped 90% of the time!!! Genius piece!
I can't begin to imagine the amount of time that went into making this animation. Kudo's!
I was introduced to this by my teacher, and it is a good stop-motion animation. I get it is art, however... I'm scared.
I hope this animation masterpiece has gotten some international attention (ie. film festivals). It could still hold up today.
I revisit this every 5 years or so. I love it so much.
Same here. Saw it for the first time when I was maybe 9 or 10 and I’m 21 now 😳
@@aktareseneir6308 I think I saw it for the first time when I was around your age... now I'm 33 😂
Same. This time I came after watching Train's "Soul Sister" and I was like hey I know that kind of artwork.
Wow my Dad showed this to me when I was 4 now I can finally like and subscribe to it. This is freakin awesome
6:04 to 6:21 is the part that is the most nightmare fuel for me
Whoever has the time and patience to create these masterpieces is a living GAWD!!
Blu is one of the most creative animators of our time, this gets better every time I see it.
Qué laburaso!! Extraordinario!! Me alegro que sea Argentino, nunca había visto algo así
+Davide Marzella 6:05 ciudad de Buenos Aires capital de Argentina
+poloman south BLU is italian, he lives in bologna, he has done murales all around the world, probably this time he was in argentina but he is not argentino.
si fuera por los argentinos todos los grandes serian argentinos jajaja
Do you hear that? That's the sound of my mind being blown
Our art teacher showed us this today. This video is so beautiful to me!!
I like how the put the long pause at the end, like they know it was so awesome we'd need a second to take it all in.
Loved it.
Excelente!!!!
Besides being beautiful, it's the best way to erase other graffiti
I have always admired and loved this work since I saw it some years back.. I find something new every time I replay it!
This is the best thing I've ever seen.
This is really amazing, but in the same time really mind fucking too lol
Ikr xD
reminded me of cyriak
Such a dope video. I'm glad its still up after all these years.
man, that's some hard work..... a standing ovation for outstanding work!!!!
this is so bizarre and weird with a hint of creepy on a number of levels. My art instructor exposed me to this lol.
However, I do appreciate the creativity, and surrealism; I liked when all the little teeth scurried lol.... but Im not watching this again lol.
WhAt tHe FuCC?
ikr...
gah this whole film is just gorgeous.... I can't believe all the work put into this
The amount of effort put into it this is unfathomable. I don't think there will ever be a point where this animation doesn't impress me.
Fumei demais hoje.. Vou parar.
KKKKKKKK BR em todo lugar

BLU is an incredible artist! His images are simple but powerful. Has anyone seen his art in person?
Reminds me of Superjail. Thanks, this is rad!!!
Still watching and sharing this work of genius in 2022!
