This is my father, Ken Becker being interviewed about my brother's (Ken Becker Jr.) 1964 Buick Riviera. The only thing more special than the car is the relationship between the two of them. Witnessing the talent and knowledge they share about classic car restoration is secondary only to the bond they share, it's quite special. Deception (The name of Kenny's 1964 Riviera) took 7 years of my father and brother's every spare minute, in a home garage and became such a work of art, such a labor of love.....a must see for any classic car enthusiast.

I totally get the ‘deception’...it’s something else 👌
I would.....put just a little splash of color on the wheels somehow to make them part of the overall looks 🍀

Really enjoyed the Video. Great story and a beautiful job well done.
I saw a first generation Riviera roll past me in 1968 when I was 8 years old. Twenty years later I'd drive by one that was parked deep on a driveway in a large lot. In 2006 I finally got up close to one that was being loaded onto a trailer being taken away to its new owner.
The 65 Riv GS became my favorite classic car because of its unique story, heritage, impeccable design, power, performance, luxury, innovations and visual presence. Don't know if I'll ever get one but in the meantime I've got a 2012 Cadillac CTS4 Awd Luxury Edition Sportwagon that I'm really happy with. One of under 200 made. I built a garage for it.
    Thanks for posting 👋from 🇨🇦

Gorgeous car. But I really love the father/son story that makes this car so special. I didn't have that with my old man. He Couldn't even change oil. lol Rest his soul. He was a good man. But not a car guy. This car is awesome. The colors are perfect the custom touches are amazing.

Hi Lou, Thanks for your reply and I hope to meet you someday soon as well. This weekend my Dad has his Riviera Grand Sport at Chicago's World of Wheels. This is another beauty of a car with a great story as well. It's a gorgeous shade of red with a beautiful original interior. If you are going to this show, keep a look out. You have a new fan in me as I have been watching your show since featuring the 64 Riviera. You really have a knack for picking great cars to feature, thanks again for filming my Dad and my brother Kenny's car. Here is an open invitation to visit and see all three of their Buick's, I'm sure you would be impressed by them all. If you would like I can email you pictures of them, you will be hard pressed to pick a favorite. Thanks again for featuring the 64 Riviera, it really is special.....Karen

I had a 64 Wildcat with the 401 nailhead with dual cherry bombs with shorty pipes and modified air filter and it ran really strong. But talking about that 64 Riv. She looks very Cherry. Very beautiful Riv. Awesome looking interior and body and paint look also but what really makes it a classic is that 425 Nailhead with the dual quads. I don't know for sure but I think only Rivs and Wildcats had that engine option. That engine had serious Torque. Those nailhead engines also ran very smooth. That is a great looking Riv and something to be proud of. I ❤❤❤ that Riv.

This is one beautiful and inspiring automobiles. I have a 1963 and a 1964 Riviera that I'm currently restoring myself right now. But my goal is to obtain a 1965 Grand Sport Riviera. I have been following these cars for almost 30 years now. My brother had a 1965 Riviera Gran Sport when he was 16 and I fell in love with it and have been chasing it every sense. But my dad would not let him put it on the road because of the horsepower that it had. But I would have to say that this here is one of the most beautiful Riviera's I have seen in a long time. Thanks for showing and keep up the good work.

Beautiful! I regret selling my 1965 Riviera that was black, saddle tan interior, Buick "465 Super Wildcat engine"(425), it had every option with the exception of the GS badging, it was my first car back in the late 1970s! The 63-65 Riviera has to be on the top of the list of most beautiful cars GM ever built.

Lou Costabile, thanks Lou, I’m a long time fan of and subscriber to your Channel. I’m a LEGO master builder that specializes in cars, but I build other things too. Past builds have included a ‘66 Mustang Funny Car, ‘31 Ford Vicky Gasser, and Land Speed World Record holders. I will be launching a new YT Channel called Matt’s Kustom Kreations, where I display then disassemble my designs. I would be honored if you would check it out once launched.

Gorgeous car, but those enormous wheels are totally out of proportion to its aesthetics. Nothing bigger than 16"" wheels are all that is required and the car is perfect, IMO.

Great car, great people, great story, great amount of work, interesting engine choice, sounds like perfect tuning, love the paint, but..... that steering wheel is a poor choice.

Hi Vincent Brown, The "nail Head" is a Buick motor and I'm not an Engineer, however it has something to do with the valves and the head configuration. I'm sure a Viewer can share technical details, Lou

The hood is bent right side from bad hinges years ago. I can tell. They were notorious all GM's for jamming and then torque would bend the hood.
