I’ve watched a ton of your Lush videos and the one thing I can not understand is why NO ONE is wearing particle masks..with all those powders flying around and also NO hair nets. Kinda shocking honestly.
Yup It is strange . Staff arms are exposed what's the benefit of gloves when there arms touching the working table. Although I like there products I dont buy them cuz most of them are in the store exposed not covered . Yup it is nicely displayed but worry me what contamination it could catch .
@@matattas id really like to recommend you never go to a restaurant again then, because the people handling your food are only wearing gloves that cover their hands. most places dont mandate hair nets either because they barely do anything lol

I wouldn’t be surprised if the people who work there end up having long term respiratory issues from being around all of the strong scents every single day. I LOVE their products but have a hard time staying in their store long without getting a migraine. My nephew almost had an asthma attack after he walked in there and had to leave the store after he started wheezing. Their stores smell so awesome but the smell is so strong you can smell it from a few stores away at the mall. I couldn’t imagine how much stronger this would be working at their factory!!
My mom used to work in a candle shop pouring candles. She started working there when the company started out small and was there for quite a while when the moved into a bigger factory building. She along with so many other employees had to quit after so many years and discovered they all developed the same medical issues from all strong scents they used. I can’t imagine this would be much different. Awesome products and awesome tour!! But as fun as it looks, I couldn’t imagine working there.

Not just scent, but from all the powdered ingredients that are inhalation hazards and no masks or respirators to be seen?

The stuff in the air is just scents and the glitter is organic and very small so even if it gets inhaled it will just dissolve and not harm the respitory system

I have worked at Lush manu for 4 years in UK and believe I've seen and heard some ish... Its not at all bubbly little fun.
What I experienced:
Health and safety is very poor.
Racial discrimination.
Sexual harrasment.
Lack of professional management.
I have pictures of how it REALLY looks like and it's not set up for visitors. Anyway, I quit and I'm so happy to be finally free.
No face masks and I saw a lot of tiny powder dust flying straight into their lungs😟
@@jebediahkerman2972 It's all the same, I have worked at many different departments. In my opinion Lush doesn't care about employees much. Recent situation with covid shows it even more as my friends are dropped on the pavement as business must be protected. Facts.
I think in uk most comapnies are shit and they dont care. Too much sexual harrasment and racial dicrimination is alot. I better do uber delivery and i am happy with that

I just started working for manu as a seasonal! I’m working in ballistics, which is fancy for the bath bomb room! I worked retail last season, but honestly manu is so much more fun I find! Pressing bath bombs can definitely be a workout 😂

Emma Hawthorne it sorta looks like a bar of soap, but you can crumble it up under your bath faucet ( only use like 1/8 of the bubble bar depending on the size each use, trust me it will save you lots of money) and when you put it in your bath, it makes MOUNTAINS of bubbles!

Toothytabs used to be my absolute favorite. They changed the the ingredients and added Sorbitol & Xylitol and they now make my mom, my sis in law and I all literally sick, each in our own special way. 😕😢😓

Since some comments mention no particle masks or hairnet: I found a short black hair in a bath bom back when lush had the retro section on their site (Sicilian bath bom). It looked like a beard hair. I even found a screw at the bottom of my tub from a bath product too (frozen bath bom) around 2015-2016. Never found anything else besides hair and a screw. Ik some ppl have found glass in theirs before.

My parents bought me a Lush gift card for my birthday after I developed an obsession with bath bombs and accidentally discovered oil soaks are the only way I can shave my legs without ending up with razor burn from hell--I have keratosis pilaris, even on my legs, and I've tried so many lotions that are supposed to "cure" it. Nope. But the oil soothes it long enough so shaving doesn't result in slicing the top off of each and every little bump.
The avobath is my life.

Full of grace underneath face mask yes but don’t leave it on your face on it’s own, i found that it broke me out when i left it on my face.
The Amazon Face Primer is friggen bombbbbbbbb. Keep it in your fridge when your not using. You can leave it on for however long you want. Use it on skin with redness while it’s nice and cold underneath makeup and it does wonders...
