I love the character development of Dark Link going from being Link's dangerous mortal enemy to some asshole who annoys link when hes like out shopping or something.

That Skulltula REALLY hated Queens of the Stone Age.
Vinny's passive ability to break games will even break already broken games.....he is some kind of higher god we have never seen before our time.

9:34 It's incredible how they programmed Dark Link to mimic every single one of Link's movements, even the ones that aren't used during the battle.
Dark link is really just another player actor that has a script of buttons to press. Anything Link can do he can. He's diving in the water because he's trying to backflip.

Dark link is basically copy paste from link. If dark link gets eaten by a likelike no matter how far from you link will get sucked to the likelike. Zfg messed around with him

He can mimic everything link can, including nayru’s love which isn’t unlockable until after defeating him

I actually like the idea of Dark Link being this ongoing threat that attacks you almost randomly. Maybe if he wins, mocks you, and takes all your Rupees or some shit. But as you get better, and if you defeat him, you get special effects or items you can utilize.
That's sort of how he was used in _Four Swords Adventures_

I've heard it said that Miyamoto had nightmares before Ocarina of Time came out about the possibility of the game being super broken on launch. I imagine this is exactly what he was envisioning.

Damn, can't believe they added Majima Everywhere to Ocarina of Time.
If Vin ever does another OOT randomizer run, he should do it with Ship of Harkinian, it is *very* good.
The addition of 60 FPS / Gyro / Modern camera control is also a good excuse for him to revisit OOT rando again. Or even just a vanilla (SoH) OOT playthrough, since I don't think he's done a vanilla OOT playthrough in eons, just 3D / 3D Master Quest.

gotta say I miss when chaos editions were closer to real time corruptions rather than these specific effect stackers
do you have any suggestions for how I can improve this chaos edition moving forward? I like the idea of it being closer to real time corruptions, but those are unstable and more often than not either noisy or boring. I would like to make it crazier, though
@@Aegiker It's pretty good already imo, the only way to add truly random effects like op wants would probably be using auto-corrupt in rtc, which like you said doesn't usually get the kind of results people want.
Honestly the more effects there are the more random it'll feel. If it's even possible, corrupting the game in real time could be one of the effects but I feel like that'd be risky since that might crash the game, not to mention I feel like that would be really difficult to implement, though I don't know anything about modding OoT.
An option to hide the timer and effects would help if that isn't already an option, same with an option to randomize the time between effects.
@@Duskztar the default timer option randomizes the time between effects and the game has 80 effects in it, vinny liked to pick easy options for most of the stream. corrupting the game in real time would be plausible but I've done my best so far to make it stable and reduce crashes so that would sadly end up counterintuitive. If I knew what people liked about real-time corruptions I might be able to recreate the effects as chaos effects, but most real-time corruptions are just cartridge tilts with funny colors and random triangles turning into spikes

They finally updated this mod??? I remember way back in 2017 when they just quit working on it (maybe it was before then) and all it had was the starting town. It got boring fairly quickly, but the chaos was fun at least.

- Hitting with sword has crazy huge knockback and send link flying away.
- fairy animation spam
- spawn Airwings
-make a trigger to allow twitch user to choose effect
- forced iron boots
- random din's fire
- unstoppable spinning attack, like it doesn't stop and you can move like a beyblade.
- the same version but it make you fly like an helicopter

@@Suplink__ yes I am the dev. the ice floor, the knockback, the arwings, and twitch integration are all included already. ignore water is another effect. Your other suggestions will be considered as well. Part of the reason it isn't so crazy in this video is because vinny set the timer really high to make it easier.

I mostly think that it's the gameplay of OOT that make it feel different. it's slower than mario 64 globally
