    This is the first Linux Distro I've had where I had to manually make it be able to boot to Linux.
    I love the tutorial btw, and you actually showed how to reverse it

    Can u make a tutorial wheru you install windows and nobara on separarte SSDs with grub installed on windows ssd by setting up proper mount points and flags for each partition

      I second this, I've somehow blocked myself from seeing win11 on 1st ssd. Boot up only shows fedora

    I did the same thing as presented in the video but when after change the bootloader path and restarting, it doesn't bring me to the GRUB loader, but still the Windows Boot Loader.
    Although, Nobara was installed on a second drive with W10 & W11 installed on the first drive.

      I'm like you but i found a solution, you have to do nobara partition in the boot menu as the first partition

      you will encounter highly blocks from A LOT of publishers like EA for example thats the reason im stepping back and do a Dual OS now there are so many games who not support wine or even lutris :) but you will see. The games who are running on nobara are running as good or better as on windows with less resources needed but there are HEAVY walls you will encounter along the way and if youre just a gamer with no or not much linux exp you will not be able to solve the most Problems that will come into your way. dont think ez os sys will replace windows its a heavy mistake it isnt as good and ez as exp linux users show in videos. there are lots of headaches coming :)

    ~00:05:30 during Nobara install, the menu asks if you'd like to "Install Alongside. The installer will shrink a partition in order to make room for Nobara..." - why not use this option and skip the earlier manual re-partitioning?

      Same, I've been installing tons of Linux systems this week and nobara is the only one that won't boot, after installation, windows will just pop again.

      Thank you@@kskroyaltech . Is this because Ubuntu and Nobara have different install strategies? Just curious why the strategies are different.

    I running win10 with boot drive + 4 drives. I like to keep everything not related to OS (games, documents, pictures, media etc) on drives other than the boot drive.
    If i install dual boot on my boot drive with linux, assuming app compatibilities would i be able to use common files on the other drives regardless of OS?
    Examples:
    media files (.mp3, .jpg, .avi, etc)
    markdown files (Linux.md, etc)
    code files (.py, .sh - for VSCode)

    Whenever i used to try dual booting. i always ended up with diffrent time and date in both os. i want to know if it happens with you too or not. and if it does not. what i can do to avoid this problem

    • @kskroyaltech
      @kskroyaltech  7 місяців тому +1

      yes It happens. This is because of BIOS. Mostly windows face this issue. Just update the time in windows thats it.

    • @viciant
      @viciant 6 місяців тому +1

      This happens because linux stores time in UTC and windows in Local time or something you can fix this by using following command in linux terminal "timedatectl set-local-rtc 1"

      It actually worked out without me doing anything. my windows 11 fast boots right away, I have to manually open boot order to switch to fedora, and I like it this way

    Hey there, I prefer Fedora like experience and want to install it as my first Linux distro.
    Should I not install Fedora and try Debian instead due to the RHEL closed source code news.

      You can try Fedora without any issues. it offers pure GNOME desktop experience and comes with latest features.

    This didnt work for me after installing Nobara 39. Without knowing why, setting the Virtual Drive to R does not seem to work. Simply opening the termninal as an admin and then bcdedit /set "{bootmgr}" path \EFI\fedora\grubx64.efi
    was my solution, cheers
