ta so much for your tutorials ... your method of teaching takes the fear out of trying which as a beginner I truly appreciate. A blank page can be so daunting.
Question: can any salt be used for this technique ? You mention sea salt or table salt ... would Himalayan rock salt in either fine and coarse grain work ? I could simply try it but perhaps this may be a helpful Q/A for other beginners wondering the same thing. Ta again

Love this! I have yet to try abstract, just nervous about it. My sister wants me to do a wall panel canvas in the abstract style. She sent me the canvas. I am thinking I need to cover it with watercolor ground first. It's a vertical size 5ft x 7 ft (yikes!). Do you have any tips on how to start something this big? I am going to practice by doing a few 8" x10" 's first. I really love your style.

Do you stretch your paper?

I don’t stretch my paper. Are you 300 g 100% percent cotton on block. This helps with warping. Hope this was helpful.
