I like to imagine the neighbors have given up on being weirded out by anything y’all do at this point just like “oh Jim, those young’uns next door are doing their ritualistic demon summoning dance again…” “that’s nice, Martha”
@@starlight8115 my dude, I have never gotten a religious vibe or message from their songs. Please enlighten me because I would like to understand where you’re coming from.
@@SeraliaAerials Im not religious (I don’t take the religious messages from their songs when listening either) but the core ideas for many of their songs are about or related to god/understanding religion (such as creature for example)
@@haizien idk man, after looking into it more, it seems that while they are Christians as people, they don’t seem to be a Christian band, same with their songs. Plenty of things have the core ideals or morals of Christianity without actually being Christian. You can also mention religion or religious figures without the song being for them. Heck, if Creature didn’t specifically mention Jesus Christ, you could make an argument for the song having ties to Greek myths or Islam. I was raised very Christian(though I’m not anymore), I write my own music, but it’s not everything I am just because I was brought up that way and even when I was actively Christian, it didn’t show to other people. It’s entirely possible to separate your religion from you and I think the band as a whole and as individuals have done an amazing job of that while still being true to what they believe in.
@@SeraliaAerials as a band they cover many different topics in songs and I personally have interpreted them in many different ways, it just so happens that some songs literally specifically mention and talk about their religion which is cool and all, its great to see people express their thoughts and beliefs through art. I don’t consider them a christian band, some of the songs just happen to involve the christian faith and I’m fine with accepting that, but it’s always fine to interpret them in ways that aren’t related to religion as well
I need friends like this so hard! I miss dancing and making/performing music. Finding this band last year kept me going and turned me onto so much other stellar music. I love how you guys mix the interpretive dance into the aesthetic as well. Guess I’m not the only one who ponders how conditional being a “punk” is? I thought it was supposed to be evolutionary but alas I digress.
I love how you film everything in one take, it's so your thing
Well and to create the illusion they have suuuuuuch a good team not to mention the talent of all 6 members lol I'm countin the cameraman;)
No even in professional movies single shot takes are so hard to do. This is incredible ❤

That's especially funny considering that many of their songs are religious xd
