Mike, that was a roller coaster of a film. Nothing left out.
I bailiff park puddles, and the sheer disrespect the public have for our waters is disgusting 😤. They go to the waters edge for its tranquility, beauty and that "outdoors feeling", yet leave it like a landfill.
Otters..... don't get me started on those murdering beasts 🤬
I also train youngsters in our Junior angling club, so I totally get it about getting the kids off the games consoles, fair play to your boy for going with you and catching some nice little pristine Carp 👍

Absolutely disgusting that some small minded people come to such a beautiful place and leave a totally disgraceful mess😠😠 As u say how can this planet service if some people can't even do something as basic as take their own litter home with them!! Anyway great vlog and massive respect for your efforts in keeping these places looking beautiful.
Lovely story Mike , really enjoyed that . That litter - must have been soul destroying to see that on a regular basis , so all credit to you for dealing with that , mentally and physically . Sad reflection on modern society when people behave that way .

Wow thoroughly enjoyed that, listen to your podcasts all the time mike. Your by far the best podcast presenter regarding carp fishing, so likeable , so easy to listen to and just a joy,,, what’s refreshing is that despite the scum bags and riff raff around the park , you still persevere and manage to intact find new friends and life influencing people such as the travelling couple 🙏🏻 which just adds to the adventures , mega mate well done, a breath of fresh air ftom the commercial rubbish posted nower days

Really really enjoyed that I fished a park lake in Brentwood Essex for some really old fish I loved being there I'm sorry to say this and people are going to moan at me but we used to get heaps and heaps of rubbish left it wasn't English people that were doing it. It was heaps of people from other countries having big barbacues and just leaving shit everywhere discusting. Those fish were amazing well earned 🤛

Great watch, proves that effort equals reward. You are a better man than me though, I could not put up with fishing a venue like that where the general public do not give a toss about the wonderful surroundings they have.

Excellent Mike. Very well put together film. I really enjoyed it. Some great fish from what looks a very challenging lake. I have a similar park lake near me that just gets wrecked in the summer. Rubbish everywhere. Makes you wonder what goes through people's minds when they are walking away and leaving rubbish like that.

When I was fishing this park lake they used to just jump in aswell exactly where I was fishing they didn't give a shit !!! That end fish was stunning those pants were not 😅

So any fish you have is well earned

In 10-30 years when there's no more pleasant, clean open space left, there'll be uproar.. Just treat lakes like the ocean, as they all get there in the end. That plastic bag will turn into hundreds of smaller pieces that end up in the food chain.

We lost over 200 carp as well as pike silvers at brasside Durham the EA and natural England did not think it through releasing these apex preditors they need culling because they have wiped millions of pounds worth of fish out.Otters eastern Europeans mink cormorants and other people's wiping fish out up here in Washington Sunderland we have had ponds wiped out because of people eating stealing fish We started to get the fishing in the UK looking great but as usual people have to mess it up.Makes you think what's the EA doing with our license money.
