People should really develop the necessary muscles before trying this stuff. Yoga isn’t about getting into the poses, it’s about flow and getting to know your body.
Yep, don't try full dancer pose on your first try ;)
U r right
《 •NicoleTheKitsune• 》 yoga is an ACTUAL WORKOUT
Midnight Flower also as a warm up? i like to do 15-20 mins before my actual workout sometimes.
absolutely
Its really hard to do tutorial while talking. Applase to her doing things at the same time.
The explanation is really good, but the music on the background makes me nervous...
Monique Yoga totally agree
Same
So true
the music doesn't really suit yoga.
I tried the crow pose and was able to hold for 2 seconds. The lifting of hip higher to push knee into armpit was excellent tip. I feel so happy and proud.
Congratulations!!! It's a hard pose!!!
Who asked
Practice makes perfect once begin never discontinued and it takes years and years. Yoga is like a light once lit never dim. Good luck
Not a year daily practice you do it within one month
@@mathumathi2781 i cant do full split after 2 month practice but i think that another 2-3 months practice will solve my pblm
This was really great! Thank you!
If I could just add something real fast.. Something (essential for proper posture) that also contributes to the ease of an asana is proper gaze!
For example, in bakasana (crow pose) if your gaze is at your feet, you will most likely fall. Instead, one’s gaze should be forward, about 3 feet or so.
(As far as I know) every asana has a designated gaze point.
While some focus points do contribute to the ease of a pose, most/ all allow practitioner to receive full benefits of pose by doing it properly and completely.
The nine gaze points are:
- a point in front of you, like the example of bakasana;
- our navel, like in adho mukha svanasana (downward dog);
- the tip of one’s nose, like in chaturanga dandasana;
- one’s hands or finger tips, like in utthita parsvakonasana, gaze is towards your extended hand/finger tips... achieving your gaze here is actually pretty much the last step in performing this asana, and instead of creating ease, it allows you to receive the full benefits of the pose;
- our feet or tips of toes, like in janusirsasana (head to knee pose);
- gaze to the left or the right, depending on which way you are looking, usually in twists like in matsyendrasana;
- upward or outward, like in virabhadrasana 2, one simply gazes beyond the hand, beyond the finger tips, into infinity;
- our third eye center, used in many types of meditation
This comment turned out to be wayyyy longer than I anticipated, I hope it was interesting, or at least informative!
