Theoretically, it's a good idea, but how would we run out of content for lord packs enough so to justify character only packs? There's just so, so much ground to cover, still. Also, they'd charge the same for less content

I'm not a expert so tell me if I'm missing anything but from my knowledge after that all the empire has left are some characters in the 8th addition army book that could be put together in a little pack, keep on mind I'm also in favour of having random unit packs that just add units of different races rather then what lord backs do which seems to go for thematics to tie in with the lord if possible

Though I think there could be an elector-count for the human, living parts of Sylvania, who struggles with Vlad and Mannfred. In general, though, I was thinking more about the other races that aren't well represented, like Kurgans, Araby, Nippon, Ind, Ungols (as an independent people from Kislev, almost like subjects) and also, say, the Norscans that are not chaos worshippers (they exist).
@@goncalves4269 those are race packs which I think are a much bigger undertaking then smaller bite sized character packs, but il also be brutally honest and say most of the races you mentioned will likely not see the light of day outside of mods or will be made smaller parts of bigger races, araby for example I think was confirmed as something that will never happen (for stupid political/culture reasons but that's besides the point) I think dogs of war will be the last race pack and the rest will be lord packs and then finish off with character and unit packs, how I hope I'm wrong and we also get a bunch of new race packs but I'm not holding my breath, I feel more likely they will expand and build the races they currently have then make lots of completely new stuff that doesn't have a lot on the tabletop to adapt
Oh that's such a shame. I particularly don't like lord packs because those seem such little content for the massive scale of the universe. It's like if in Rome 2 they added Caesar as just a "legendary character" in the main campaign without adding, say, the Caesar in Gaul campaign with it. It just seems really cheap and uninteresting for me.
One of my favorite lore-interpretations is that from the perspective of the Chaos Gods, they don't really differentiate between Demon Princes and Chaos Spawn. They're just two incidental outcomes of the gods heaping people with boons.
I have mixed feelings here about Archaon's Lieutenants. They seem to be also materials for LLs. In Kislev's case, I'd like to see a LH based off a more martial hero type. If it weren't for the fact the Druzhina was made into a generic lord (I'm still mad over the Hag Mothers being retconned), we'd get some LH based off a Druzhina. Alternatively maybe an Armored Kossar or Tzar Guard LH. That and a generic hybrid melee/ranged hero (or just a pure melee one) because while the Frost Maiden and Patriarch aren't bad, Kislev needs a generic hero unit that can take quite the punishment and can return back as much.
I think will see a Kisleve DLC update but in part of an update with Norscae and a Vampire Count. The three that need the greatest overhaul right now, with Norsca needing the most work. Sadly, I have no one specific for Kisleve. I do see the Vampire Count likely being a Lahmian with new spying and seduction mechanics, specifically Neferata, while Norsca will be either Engra Deathsword, Egil Styrbjorn, or Mortkin, one of the Chaos Undivided Lords. Since there will likely follow with a Norseca DLC as the spear tip for the End Times, with Lords that focus on each of the Chaos Gods and one anti-chaos, so five Legendary Lords. However, if we keep with the theme, Ivan Mikelovitch Straghov, Urika's father, comes to mind with a focus on ground units and artillery as a defense against chaos and vampires, and the units Kiselv desperately needs. Yes, I know that Urika's fate as a vampire saw her father die but as Total War has retcon things like by having Ork and Britania Lords that should be dead, if only of old age, still be alive by the times of Warhammer Fansty's End Times, Ivan could have survived and dedicated to the eradication of vampires and Norecans due to their involvement of takinger her daughter and makinger a monster. However, I do have a more specific Lord for Grand Cathay, Yin-Yin, the Grand Admiral and dragon ruler of the Eastern River, and her rival Zheng Shih of the Nipponese Pirate Lords, a vampire pirate for two reasons. One, Yin-Yin is a great way to introduce a new caravan mechanic for the sea as trade via ships that can be ambushed by factions with ports. Second, Zheng Shih can be used to update the Vampires of the Coast (another faction that needs a major overhaul) if lumped into the faction for being a vampire pirate or be the canter of a new Undead Faction, the Jade-Blood Vampires. Plus, some new flying ships with guns could make for some coll land battles and give Cathay an extra punch for air combat.
Both Feytor and Cyspeth stand in the shadow of greater characters. In front of Feytor we have Gutrot Spume and Valnir the Reaper, who could stand as LHs next to Glottkin LL. Cyspeth would take second place behind Galrauch, who himself stands 2nd place behind Egrimm van Horstmann.
Ogres need more stuff overall and a mechanic buff that seems to make the different lords seem like what they are also Greasus needs a size buff plz CA he is the Over Tyrant he should be the biggest Ogre Tyrant like he was in lore
Maybe Archaon could copy Tamurkhan's hero system by introducing his own roster of lieutenants (these could flavour individual armies and make his Undivided faction more interesting). So there would be: Vardek Crom - for Undivided. Haargoth the Blooded - for Khorne. Feytor the Tainted - for Nurgle. Vandred the Majestic - for Slaanesh. Melekh the Changer - for Tzeentch. It may seem like a little much, but then this is the Everchosen we're dealing with.

Any info about the cult of Drakk ? Lorewise it looks very cool, a cult of men, ogres, giants, monsters, animals and elves, controlled by a sleeping dragon dreaming of revenge over dwarfs, taking over a volcanic region near thunder mountains...
I like the idea of mortal characters being added to the monogod factions that help boost the mortal units. It helps show that the armies of each of the Chaos Gods aren't just filled with daemons but filled with mortals as well.
Hraug Frostmaw would also be a good ogre character if Bragg somehow isn't coming with Golgcigarette Maneater. They won't add my boy Frostmaw though because he's barely a character.
Didn't expect ti get a realistic option for daniel (i still like the campaign tho, just not in IE), but fury hero seems great, maybe make it larger (not quite the size of a lord of change) and it could be a decent support/assasin type character (simmiliar to tiktacto).
hear me out. ungol kossar hero for kislev. just a kossar dervish who has gained massive popularity in the ungol population. make him a druzhina, lower all his stats except for missile strength and accuracy, give him a sword or spear, and just have him be a fire and forget hero that specialises in killing monsters, that if caught is basically a dead man. essentially a weaker ulrika that can also buff up dervishes and kossars so they can be more viable in the mid game. and towards endgame where he drops a fair bit, he can be respecced into an agent. give him a skill line that can be accessed only after say level 25 that gives him essentially the best hero actions that would fit with his character. hell, add a skill that lowers his action cost to 0 if the actions are done within your territory for an "anything for the motherland" effect

I hate gorduz backstabber as a legendary heroe. For me, legendary heroes should be big fighters characters, like ariel or kroak, with unique skill tree and not just a generic skilline and an "unique" skilline that buffs one type of unit

Give Chaos Dwarfs Siege Giants and give Kostaltyn a battle altar with some Patriarch themed units
