Hey guys, wanted to get this video out a little early so you have time to prep your holiday menus! This is one of our family's favorites and we hope you love it too! Regarding the liquid amounts. Feel free to use less of both the chicken stock and wine if you want or add a touch more breadcrumbs to thicken it up. I personally like to have extra sauce for bread dipping but the choice is yours. As always the print recipe is linked in the description.
Thanks for another great dish.
Thanks for this. I’m always looking for great shrimp recipes.
For the new year I wish u millions of subs
❤ this recipe - it will be perfect for the holiday. TY!
So yummy, can't ever go wrong with garlic, wine, parsley, butter, and bread crumbs [crunch😋] with fill in the blank vessel of seafood. Amongst more than several things, I miss northeast seafood selections very much, allllll those clams, flounder, white/blue fish....
Fortunately, the frozen, raw shrimp selection is ample and lends itself very well to preparations such as this, another great dish 👍🌟🎄😊
I could eat the whole dish by myself…..happily…..ravenously……OMG this looks amazing!!!!!
This is one of my favorite ways to eat shrimp. Those buttery, garlicky breadcrumbs are magic! For me, the more crumbs, the better. Thanks for the reminder, I'll be picking up some shrimp today at Costco. 😍
Hope you enjoy it!
I'm thinking this could be a New Years eve appetiser with our neighbours. Looks fantastic!
Your taste tester does an amazing job!! You need to give her a raise. I have tried soooo many of your recipes, and they are all delicious!!! Thanks for providing these videos!!!!
Your recipes are increasingly making their way into my rotation, and this one will join them. Good job, great channel.
Always love checking in to see what delicious dish you're whipping up. You never disappoint
Thank you for this recipe and your videos! I love it when taste testers tell you what they would like about the recipe to make it a 10. I'm grateful for this channel!
Your sessions are never less than enjoyable. As a very old guy I restrict myself to very simple preparations. Watching your more elaborate preps is fun. Thanks.
Thank You guys!!! Always great reminders! I always do artichokes and stuffed mushrooms I totally forgot about this one. I love this channel because it transports me back to my childhood. This is going to be my Christmas Eve meal . I saw someone commented on the mushroom and pasta video It blew my mind and its one of my all time favorite recipes and I have encouraged my friends to try it. Let those mushrooms get brown!!! Happy Holidays lovely people!
Shrimp, butter, garlic = perfection. I'm there! Delish When I young we had this seafood restaurant in Western Massachusetts used do this with scallops that was my favorite. 😋🍤
I like her critic. You should have her on more often. Luv this dish will definitely try it. The mushroom pasta that you made was the bomb.
Thanks, will definitely be including her more! So glad you liked the mushroom pasta too!
Just finished making and eating this and WHEW! it was delicious! Made 3x the bread crumb mixture for future Salmon and clam Oreganata dinners. Couldn't get enough! Thanks for sharing the recipe
My Mom told me about your channel and we both love your recipes! Making the short ribs with pappardelle and the shrimp oreganata for Christmas Eve dinner tonight!
This was fantastic! Been looking for this recipe for about 40 years. Real New York oreganate. ❤
I made this recipe for Xmas eve, it was incredibly easy and delicious! A total hit with the family, this recipe is a keeper! Thank you!!!
Your wife's like 'O dang! The audio went out and now I have to eat more shrimp'...lol what a hardship
Served this tonight for just me and my husband. We ATE IT ALL! Great shrimp, garlic, lemon flavor. Fantastic! Would not change a thing!
I made this tonight…OMG IS ALL I CAN SAY! Are you kidding me? You are an amazing teacher. Thank you💕
Right on time. My store had shrimp on sale for 6.99 a lb. I'll be making this.
I saw the recipe midday yesterday and immediately got out 6 shrimp (1 serving for me). I adjusted other ingredients a bit and WOW - this was wonderful! I am a sourdough baker and had some crusty ciabatta type rolls to soak up that sauce … that sauce!! This is a quick easy dinner … side salad or start roast veg early and there you go! Thanks!
This may be the best shrimp dish I've ever had - thank you for this timely and amazing recipe. I'm not with family today but it was nice to treat myself to this delicious dish. And I will treat them in the future! TY. 🙏🎄
Love that you made this for yourself!! I have learned is a good and fun thing to cook special meals just for yourself!! Pamper the taste buds and feed the yummy!!

Made this on New Year’s Day for dinner and it is delicious. One of the best dishes I’ve ever made. The wife loves it also. Thanks Jim, Happy New Year to you and yours
Besides your videos being so informative and well explained step by step, I enjoy your subtle humour so much (for example "for those who say we didnt use enough garlic - we now use enough garlic")!
Made this tonight and everyone loved it! Thanks for sharing the recipe.
I love your demos and everything I’ve made is scrumptious!
🙂 THE most honest UA-cam chef on UA-cam... 👍

Up in the Hudson valley growing up this dish was considered Shrimp scampi at most restaurants !
Happy New Year lovely family, with lovely recipes!!! Thank you!!!💌🌅☀️🎈
Love your recipes and demos but what I most value is your transparency in needing to remake dishes if they don't yield exactly what you're looking for. Great chef!
I have made this dish 3 times so far. It is so easy to make and the taste is absolutely amazing!!
This is how shrimp oreganato is supposed to be! Great recipe and great process, thanks Jim

Loving the channel over here in England. All the recipes I’ve tried have been winners. Keep up the great work.
Very good recipe! Easy too. Just made it with my U12-15 shrimp from Costco. I might add extra bread crumbs next time. The broth was really good with my homemade potato focaccia bread. Nice recipe! Will definitely make again.
Hi Jim,
Great dish - and clearly ^ concisely presented. My beloved deceased wife loved shrimp, and I think she would've loved this recipe. All the best to you & your family.
I also leave the tales on. I actually like when I get down to the tail to use my thumbs to split the tail open and get the rest of the meat out. 😄 Thanks for the video. Kudos to a fellow New Yorker and I believe a fellow Italian-American. Although I've been out of New York and down in Georgia for 18 years. But I do miss many things about New York. Especially good Italian restaurants and Italian pastry shops. ☹️
Just wanted to wish you and your family a very happy and joyous Christmas. Thanks for all you do…
Cooking really is magic
Oreganata and bay leaves in dish always great dish
I love Italian and I love shrimp so. I definitely trying this one. Your recipes look and sound so exotic, (everything sound delicious in Italian, LOL). But you really break it down into simple, logical steps. You leave no excuse to not eat this way! Kudos!
Dude..it looks great!! You explained yourself well..good job!! And I agree more bread crumbs..I'm making it tonight🍽
Made this last night with some PASTA AL LIMONE . IT WAS AMZIMG TY JIM FOR THE RECIPE
Great dish right here! I did your artichoke oreganata for my aunt's birthday dinner, and everyone loved! (Now I have to make for Christmas 🤣) Also, nice Laguiole knives!
Yea, an early week treat from you! I just took out a bag of 12-15 shrimp to thaw to make lemon garlic bucatini. After watching this, I just informed my sous chef, aka husband, that there has been a slight revision to today's dinner! LOL I may still make a little pasta to use with the sauce instead of the bread. Yum, thank you so much for another great recipe. Merry Christmas to you and the family 🎄
I hope you enjoy it! Merry Christmas!
@@SipandFeast It was delicious! Getting a glass of wine to enjoy while I watch the clams casino recipe! Your family is so blessed to have such a great in-house chef! It’s snowing like crazy here before the cold sets in tomorrow. Crazy New York weather! You & the family stay warm.
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!and I can just taste it!looks so delicious 😋!
Leaving the tails on also enhances the flavor. Great video.
I m addicted to your UA-cam!! You make me look like a great cook! Thanx
Keep your hearts warm and help those in need ❤
Just a reminder-my fellow "new York area" neighbor, I'm available here on the Island to help with any of your "art" needs, including custom laser-cutting boards, aprons, etc. Keep up the good work. Bravo-it looks amazing.
The no cheese with seafood “rule” really doesn’t apply to many shellfish recipes. Coquille St. Jacques is a good example.
This dish is good enough for a Australian summer Xmas. Thanks for the inspiration. Happy holidays and the blessing of good health and wealth for the year ahead .
glad to see this recipe back. i made it last New Year Eve and it was outstanding.
Completely awesome video and your wife is the perfect compliment to you!
My mom used to server shrimp in a garlic butter breadcrumbs sauce .. she has been 'gone for many years, now I know how to make this .. I remember she used a copper frying pan and did it on the stove top .. I'll, try your way. Looks amazing..Thanks 👍
Happy Holidays! I really enjoy your videos.
Thanks so much! Have a wonderful holiday!
Cool Shrimp Dude
I didn’t have all the ingredients. No cheese or pepper flakes. But I used Italian seasoning and margarita mix instead of wine. 8 min before it’s ready. I’m sure it will be yummy
This was so delicious! New to this channel and I love it!
Love your style of cooking! This is one of my favorite dishes! I can’t wait to try your recipe. Thank you too you and your taste testers 🍤 yum!

This looks beyond amazing!! I have GOT to make this!
Wow! that is the first time I have ever heard someone use the word judicious in a sentence other than myself, thumbs up
Hey Jim,
What an awesome dish, incredible balance and spectacular taste. In addition to bread it also goes great on simple campanelle with a bit of butter and hand crushed canned tomatoes.
But really, you could put that sauce on a shoe and it would be great.
Thanks for sharing.
Happy New Year.
All your recipes. Love watching you. This is a must try for me
It looks delicious making this for dinner! Thank you :)
