My Grandma Katie had a stove top percolator with a metal basket and she would add the water and as it boiled it went up the little tube to the basket and percolated back down. Usually was pertty good coffee. Sometimes we called it 'cowboy coffee' if it got to strong. LOL🤠☕

There is a place here in West Virginia called Hawks Nest. It's in the mountains and very beautiful. Popular place to visit. It is very cold here. Ice and snow everywhere. Enjoy your stump water😁. Quick hawk story. At the Stone Mountain Highland games they always have a birds of prey demonstration. They used to always let one of hawks go and then bring it back to the trainer. A few years ago, the hawk flew off and almost immediately dove for a squirrel. Got the squirrel and landed in the middle of the crowd of several hundred people and proceeded to eat the squirrel. Needless to say that was the last time they released the hawk.

I do not like hawks hanging around. They kill people’s cats that are out,and I had doves coming to my feeders and they started getting them. It was heartbreaking. We had to quit feeding the birds because of the darn hawk
