Good review and I like the honesty about it's flaws for around town. I used to have a GSXR750 but it was the same thing. It's built for the track and makes no sense for the street. So I now have a Z1000 and couldn't be happier.
Well, they are built for racing, but the GSXR does not need to rev 10 rpm to be fast, it's a good bike for mid range as well, and 10 rpm for the GSXR is like 6, 7 for the Z1000, which you go everytime.
still seems like a great machine, although I would get an aftermarket slipper clutch for it if I were taking this to the track the electronic engine braking seems sketchy. The new ecu fuel mapping should help for city riding not to mention that even those maps are adjustable according to the manufacturer's details on the bike
The Z1000 has torque all throughout the rev range. It doesn't need 6-7k rpm to punch hard, it pulls from way lower than that. Of course it is 1043cc but it's tuned nicely for street use. And my GSXR750 did need 10k rpm to go really fast, it just does. That's why I think bikes like the Z1000, Triumph Speed Triple, etc are the best street bikes. On track though, the supersports rule.
Yeah I agree. But here in brazil we like do sometimes ride faster and more aggressive. I stopped doing that as I first went to the track, now i dont even hit the streets anymore.. it's just not fun.
It's not just about comfort though. The supersports don't make power unless you rev them above 10k rpm. And the only time I did that on the streets was when getting onto freeways. Otherwise, for 90% of the time it was boring and not that fast.
The GSXR750 is the best Supersport for Streets, i've had the Z750 and ridden the Z1000, of course nakeds bikes for streets are a lot better, but the GSXR isn't that bad, im young (21 today =P) and i liked the racing position, my ZX6R (which is track only) is more of a pain to ride on the streets. My GSXR is track and street and i feel very comfy riding it.. but of course, my old z750 (2010 model) was a lot more comfy
well there is ppl who buy bike like this and driving from cafe to another cafe and park somwhere in front of some fancy restaurant so that ppl can see them... in germany or austria ppl ride sportbikes just to show ppl that they have hot bike, cause nobody can see u on track
Why did you emphasize that he has a white helmet like its a negative thing? Personal preference completely aside, theres nothing wrong with making yourself visible on a bike. Let me guess, you probably wear all black gear?

Perfect!! The Brutali 675 is just getting here in Brazil!!
I own the #137 AGO and riding in the city is a pain in my ass but once I get on the freeway is a beast.
Get a cbr600rr for the city, great commuter of all of the supersport bikes. I have a 2008 cbr600rr and it so comfy on the streets.
CycleCruza let’s see if you respond to a 5yr old comment lol. But how do you compare comfort between the CBR and the GSXR 600/750?
@@xJae14x my like 8 year old comment.
I wonder if they had the updated fuel mapping on that bike.

Thats it im buying one, I keep thinking its going to piss me off to much but I dont care anymore.

Good lookin out.
There is an update for the fuel map. It should work better in traffic now!

God damn, thanks for the warning!
Thanks for the warning dude, I survived it.

Who the hell wants to ride an MV trough the city? Its just like buying a ferrari to go driving in the city.

Guy with the WHITE shark helmet sticking his knee out like a kid on an rs125.
I'd buy it in a second..
This guy looks like the younger brother of Rick Sanchez
That's what i thought. rubbish conclusion.
But testing a 600cc SUPER SPORT within a congested city is pretty stupid as well.
675r all day
A rather flawed bike isn't going to sell itself to me 'because it's an MV Agusta'.
*complains about a damn near street legal race bike In the city*
haha yes, not too good in the city unfortunately
i think its uglah
ITALIANS DO IT BETTER
