I wish to learn how to design as per gadget role or function I.e what does a PCB for a radio and that of phone look like ? What are the differences and what are the similarities?

how is it that people like you can't comprehend, that if we knew what parts we needed, we'd never need the software to design the circuit... you keep going through a list of parts, but this software does nothing to actually aid in design. you're going around the list of parts, ok, i'll use this, like the average person knows what a avc/pbc/atmega32p is or what these things all do. you can't rationalize that if people knew what all these parts are, they'd know how to simply build the circuit. the software then is a pcb design software. not a circuit calculator to function like a tool. foreigners... ya'll stupid

Note: if you mainly work with THT components, set the units to inches. Most THT components have raster sizes of 1/10 inch or multiples of this, and it makes placing pads and holes in EasyEDA much easier.

It's only easier if you don't understand metric.
Here in the UK we learn in metric. Inches, yards cubits and furlongs are really hard to use if you don't use them.

    Great stuff.
I'm new to electronics so I don't know much. I've been looking around and EasyEDA seems ... worth the effort. More than I can say about some others, then again I'm still new to this so I only will say I liked the speed and clarity of this video.

Thanks for the awesome tutorial!! It's my first time using Easy PCB, and I was able to follow along with everything you mentioned. Sidenote: when you were laying out the pins for the ATMEGA328 component, pin 21 was skipped (so you still ended up with 32 pins, but the last pin was pin 33, and pin 22 was right next to pin 20).

The expose copper option was new to me, i didn't knew it exists. Thanks for showing :)
I think one part that is missing in this video is how to assign a net to the copper areas. (click on the coppera area and enter the NET Name to make for example the top copper area a gnd net). Or open the copper area manager and assign a net to it.

When you filled with copper, is that for the ground? Also how do you make a "no routing zone" for having it not automatically route wires under where your antennas are?
