I agree for once I could actually concentrate on my assignment instead of nitpicking at every little mistake. I've finished the assignment 3 days in advance, before nearly everyone else, and I actually had fun with it. :D
I'm excited to see if there is any of the youtube composers that end up being a well-known movie composer. I mean, movie studios can literally find any composers they like easily on youtube. The amount of talents they can find here are just unbelievable. And plus, they can cut their budget by hiring a non-famous composer
I don't think they would do that. It's very risky, they know so little about us and how we work. It's much easier to compose music for oneself than for someone else, and most youtube composers only compose music for their own channel. The working process is much different. I would love to compose music for a big movie though. I've already composed music for games, theatre and ads. Thanks for your message Wan Mud!

Hey Michael, I meant to reply ages ago. The system I'm running is called Numenera, its very narrative focused with an emphasis on discovering all the weird and wondrous bits of the world. (And boy does the corebook provide plenty of both) It's not quite steampunk by default, but its very easy to tweak it so that it is. Speak of which, I bought an album and recently ran a game with your music as the ambiance. The players enjoyed it so thank you. I'll make sure to check though some of your other works too.

So, you my friend inspired the Lore of Meeran Goldvein, or as I like to call him, Mr. Gold.(My role-playing character) An as bold as crazy, scientist, inventor and musician who combines both knowledge and passion to create music, gadgets, jewelry, crafts and even some destructive equipment. Adventure calls him as an armed forces commander ask him to create a device capable of outrunning the Sovereignty, an empire rising with iron fists upon the Free realm of Apolyon.
Hope this will blend with Jazz music in my grand collection. I already have sounds of its cousin genre, Cyberpunk, in my collection, which I blended with Nickelback and Crystal Method.

In between those two chapters is the "modern" chapter which primarily includes Michael Jackson and Classic Rock. According to this analysis of eras in fiction, we are currently between Steampunk and Cyberpunk. My playlist is a gradual progression in "eras" of technology from the most tribal or primitive to the most futuristic.

So, you my friend inspired the Lore of Meeran Goldvein, or as I like to call him, Mr. Gold.(My role-playing character) An as bold as crazy, scientist, inventor and musician who combines both knowledge and passion to create music, gadgets, jewelry, crafts and even some destructive equipment.
Adventure calls him as an armed forces commander ask him to create a device capable of outrunning the Sovereignty, an empire rising with iron fists upon the Free realm of Apolyon.
This sounds like a great Dungeons and Dragons campaign in a Steampunk setting :D Glad my music inspired you, Henrique !

I don't know Night in the Woods, but I'm glad you like it ! It's an old song of mine I 'reworked' in my orchestral steampunk style.
Hope this will blend with Jazz music in my grand collection. I already have sounds of its cousin genre, Cyberpunk, in my collection, which I blended with Nickelback and Crystal Method.

Well, I think Steampunk when thinking of Jazz while I think of Cyberpunk when I think of Techno and Hard Rock. In between those two chapters is the "modern" chapter which primarily includes Michael Jackson and Classic Rock. According to this analysis of eras in fiction, we are currently between Steampunk and Cyberpunk.
My playlist is a gradual progression in "eras" of technology from the most tribal or primitive to the most futuristic.
Great work! How abstract is your story? Perhaps you should try to write it down/flesh it out. I'm intrigued and would like to know more.
