How do you access the step sequencer on the BASTL THYME I've heard it exists but have never found it since documentation on this beautiful machine is almost non-existent I've had mine a little over a yearand so often it is quite daunting because there is literally no real documentation and I'm relatively new to synthesis and just learning as I go
I've found the sequencer to be quite tricky to program, and have to kind of re-learn it each time I program it. The manual is a bit hard to follow. I'm thinking about making a "how to" video to give me a refresher, and to help others. You can find the full manual on Bastl Instruments site. Here's a link to the sequencer part of the manual. bastl-instruments.github.io/thyme/manual.html#Write_Mode
just got a transducer pick up to run through the THYME as well, can you explain the connections you've made to make it run through the THYME? I can see theres a Hosa stackable patch cable with one end connected to the interface input, where is the other end going?
You should be able to connect it directly into the THYME. I'm routing everything(piezo,DFAM,Mother 32, etc) into the Nady Audio MM-242 mixer, then to the mono input on the THYME. It then goes out stereo of the THYME, and plugs into my Focusrite Scarlet 18i8 MK2. Hope that helps.
This was very interesting, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated.
Love the Bastl range of gadgets, interesting and compelling session you made here. Especially using the rocks!! Some nice ideas 👍
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! I'm loving my Thyme.
I am itching to get my hands on a thyme! Great jam
Thanks, I appreciate your feedback! I'm so glad I picked up the Thyme.

What are you using to record the sounds of the rocks etc into the bastl thyme?
The sounds are being picked up by the Cecilio P-007 piezo that is connected to a plastic air duct converter. They can be found fairly cheap on amazon.
