I have a model with slightly different hands and face but the same function. I would also add a) that the luminous hands can be read easily. b) the watch does take a bit of setting up for the compass and defining which days are weekends (because it's not always Saturday and Sunday..) - this is used in the alarm on everyday/weekdays only/off setting. c) being made of titanium it is light. d) the minute hand moves every 12/15/20 seconds (can't remember which). Only had mine a few weeks but really like it.
I notice the white lettering on your watch is like mine, not centered. Examples: METEO is not centered above the 12 O'Clock position, COMPASS at the 6 position, etc. I sent mine back and they replaced it with a bezal that had the same defect. Oh well. There are some out there that are lined up correctly.
Hi Preben, I have the same watch with a rubber strap. The problem is a blob on the left side of the digital display of the watch. Instead of just replacing the digital display the service guys want to charge for the whole mechanism. Is there a cheaper solution ?
It is very expensive for what it is but thanks for posting. I own the orange sport version with orange hands, idents and strap. I didn't like the blandness of the standard version with metal bracelet as the face looks boring by comparison. Pity the titanium strap is so expensive at £220 though but will buy one anyway as the orange strap won't look new for long I'm sure.....
+ruslana19922 Hi, thanks for the comment. That is two different kind of watches. Mechanical watch is more a gentleman watch that needs more attention like service and winder. But if you want a watch that is more accurate on time and doesnt need much attention. The t touch is powered by sun so no need to change the battery.
Bhairusingh Rathod not a good feature because the thermometer requires you to remove the watch from your wrist for an accurate temperature. My watch stays on my wrist.
I'm buying a similar model tomorrow. I just wish so many of this type of product would not come with such ridiculous packaging. It is probably a significant percentage of the cost and pretty much useless.Maybe some people like it as part of the experience but to me, it's just wasteful.
Nice watch. Compaired to previous model, i like the the solar thing a lot as this baby sucks your battery, when using it's functions. Also nice to have the day from the date as an extra. Alarm can be set on weekdays only? Great new feature ! Missing the temperature reading though. It does indeed not work on your wrist as it will also measure your body temperature, ..... however, it works great in water, and that's where we want it, right?
at the time 8:17 there is one thing that i don't understand is the word OPE. can One people teach me about this questions and what can we do through that word?
7:10 that's "hpa", or hecto-pascal. A thousand hecto-pascal is one bar. Average atmospheric pressure at sea level is slightly more than 1 bar, or about 1013 hpa, so the pressure you're reading is slightly higher than that.
After paying $1250, you don’t want a big flashy looking, but useless watch because it is inaccurate more often than not. My first gripe: Was it very difficult or impossible to include an hourly chime option? It is not a deal breaker, but for some, it is a useful feature and a reminder. Just wondering… Second: I set the correct hemisphere and climate zone for “Meteo”. Not only that, using my GPS, I set the correct altitude for “Altimeter”. Still..., when it is a bright hot sunny day all day long, “Meteo” reads at “-6”, meaning “big pressure drop, rapid deterioration”. Really….??? Really…??? I mean, even a doorknob can’t be that much “OFF”. Third: In order for “Compass” to be accurate, Tissot says “it is extremely important to hold the watch as level as possible” as it is with every compass. No surprise, there! Taking the wristband into consideration and not being able to place the watch on the table or any other surface as flat as possible, I think it would be a great idea to include a feature to measure that the watch is leveled while using the compass feature. And that would be another selling point for this watch when compared to other watches. All in all, I am not impressed, but disappointed. Considering the price tag, if the watch was more or often accurate than not. I would still be okay with it. I won't even talk about the Altimeter, it is all over the place. It is a nice, flashy looking watch. That's it. When accuracy is missing, that’s unfortunately all I can say about the watch.
@@superwiseman452 Exactly - You can get functional watches from below $50 to above $1 million. This costing in the ballpark of $1,000 is really a fair price for what you get. The watch I use the most is my T-Touch II Titanium, and even if the hand movements are slow compared to these newer models, I love it to bits. Sure, it's almost twice as expensive as a Seiko Presage Cocktail Time, but this watch has 5 functions the Cocktail Time has not (not counting date). Mine has a rotating compass bezel, which adds multiple uses (manual compass, "egg timer", etc.). $2,000 would have been a bit overpriced, but since T-Touch watches are available for $260-$1,200, I'd say they are very handy watches at reasonable prices. At the end of the day, it's all about perspective. There are guys on UA-cam who talk about their Audemars Piguets and Patek Philippes as if it's no big deal - even if they cost as much as cars. Even really expensive cars.
If you are thinking to buy a really good and solid watch that stays fine in price I would advise this. If you think of a smart watch that you can play with then Apple is good. A smart clock I think falls faster in price when it always comes new versions and hardware.
I think this watch is disappointing . The back light is very poor. The meteo function which acts as a barometer is a gimmick. The other functions ,timer chronograph and alarms work just like a cheap digital watch . This watch is a very expensive toy . don't fall for the advertising .
Tissot disappoint me becoz this watch is looking worst in within six month all polish will gone and getting scratches very easily I get 10s of scratches in three month and I always keep this watch safely But I don’t know Why should we pay a huge amount for this stupid thing ? Titanium is a worst and Iam not requement to any to buy this watch

Water resistance 100 meters = 10 BARs,,, in reality it’s like only 30 meters under the water , great watch and technology, thx

What is it price
Yes it seams that way, What do you prefer?
So no connection to your phone? Notifications wise?
They always say cool 😎
Is he the main tissot? How much did you pay for? Which country? Are you resistant?
Im from norwday. And it i pay around 1000USD for it that time.
One question, how do you read the battery meter ? How do we know it's fully charged
You enable the touch and press the centre of the watch face until is says BAT on the screen and it will show a battery indicator in the top left
is that auto time zone?
do i have to preset the relative pressure in order to get precise meteo?
Could you please tell me what is better: mechanical or T-Touch Solar Expert watch?

why Tissot not added thermometer which the most important feature for this type of watches ?
I request to please add thermometer. Thank you
+Bhairusingh Rathod Yes that true. That is a good fuature to have, but to bad thay diden have it on this really nice watche

Preben Ven
it is in the sub menu's.
They had thermometer in the previous version (not solar) and it didn't work perfectly due to the hand's temperature intervention to the actual temp.
you have thermometer, but you have to switch to service mode
Sorry but I cannot change the hours can you tellm how?
Great review. How different is this from the new version that has a dial with a red tip?
Nice review, just one correction, its water resistance is 10-BAR.

obviously
thanks for the great review, does the touch screen work in torrential rain conditions ? does the touch screen work with gloves on ?
Yes & Yes:)
I feel relief the buttons are easy to push...well it has to, it is almost a $900 watch.
true true :)
Who cares whether we wear this or not,a g shock would do the compass and altimeter tasks within $150

Too bad that no T-Touch model has beaten the design of T-Touch Trekking yet, wich i consider to be, by far, the best looking T-Touch ever made.
I have a question can you off lighting information screen at this watch any time
+abbas.mossa Yes youu can turn it on or off when ever you want. But in daylight it is hard to see that you have turned on the lights

Thank you for the information

TheOuttabody altitude is measured from atmospheric pressure which varies depending on weather for example
you add a rocket launcher to this and you have a perfect watch !!!

not really. titanium, saphire, solar battery, all the features. show me anything else similar.
