Eggs don't just contain cholesterol but also contain a lot of PFAS as well
Dr Alo looks like he's been sniffing glue I have a hard time taking him seriously.
Ive been eating plenty of eggs each day for a decade. My cholesterol is very low, and especially now that I'm on a ketogenic diet.
You are lucky. When I eat eggs my LDL is over 200. Without it is 70. Turns out I have a pretty serious lipid disorder.
@@JWB671there are people likely you that are hyper responders to cholesterol
@@JWB671 but why does this concern you, why are you afraid of LDL when studies show that a high percentage of heart attacks happen with low LDL. The table is turning. I’ll be now realize that LDL may in fact, be beneficial unprotective just avoid junk, food, too much sugar, and vegetable oils. That way, you will have low inflammation and nothing for the cholesterol to stick to. When you sit back and think about it, it all makes sense. But people like Dr.Alo Needs to keep people on his operating table, so he will tow the line with outdated studies and information pushed by the big Pharma and American heart foundation, sponsored by same.
My grandfather ate 6 eggs and 4 pieces of bacon every morning for 102 years. He died at 104. Just because you listen to bad science doesnt mean you are right.
My uncle's father in law died in his late 90s...he smoked to his heart content...never excercised .. does that make it right for everyone else to do it... No
Eggs, imo, are nature’s food perfection! I eat them daily ….
Depends if you are a hyperabsorber of dietary cholesterol. On 3 eggs a day I had LDL of 240, on zero eggs my LDL is 75.
Anecdote...
@@JWB671 it is now proven that cholesterol from eggs, and indeed other foods do not increase serum cholesterol in the blood. The liver regulates cholesterol, depending on the bodies needs, cholesterol is important for immune function, and has been shown to increase longevity and health in elderly cohorts
Hmmm... interesting for sure... but we're assuming the high LDL = Cardiovascular disease BUT this is just not clear in studies especially when taken as a stand-alone marker. We know this approach is far too reductionist.
Do "we" know that? What are your qualifications for making such a determination?
Studies on choline and tmao clearly show that not even 1 egg a day is good for you
There's a lot more tmao in fish and fish isn't exactly linked to cvd.
I assume this guy is an actual Dr.?
not really
@@btudrus He's a double board-certified cardiologist. What're your qualifications?
Hmmm
Oh, well, right at the start ,he used the phrase" TOTALITY OF EVIDENCE", so, of course, that settled it, the science is settled. Now, if he had said " the preponderance of evidence" then that would have shut down any and all arguments for any sane, rational discussions! Still, there is that nagging argument about cholesterol, in the first place, but, no, he did use the magic incantation, so that's that! For the half of heart attacks that have NORMAL cholesterol numbers that's just an outletlier, instead of an out right lie!
Very wishy-washy advice. Debate someone who knows what they talking about such as Eric Westman.
You know dietary cholesterol makes up as little as 3% of your total cholesterol, the rest is made up by liver.
Another doctor that’s bad at his job and definitely isn’t healthy.
In medical school, they teach doctors nothing about nutrition, they are probably the worst people that you could actually take advice from. And don’t forget cardiologists make a living from keeping people on their operating table, so they will not tell you that metabolic health is the main callsof cardiovascular problems. They will hold onto the lipid theory because that suits their agenda and big Pharma sponsored medication’s.
