Here's a life hack I found from a channel I watch. If you ever get tired of having to boil water every tike you want to make pasta, boil a bunch at the beginning of the week and freeze it for later.
For the love of mario, I would avoid upsetting Italians if at all possible, but if you must, I would cook the pasta less than al dente, and never with the sauce.
@@PhantomAarantula well I wasn't prepared since I hardly know nothing bout ttyd, but I still enjoy the content, sorry if it was taken the wrong way lol
completely unrelated to the challenge, i love how there's someone who says 'you go, luigi' before the final phase of the shadow queen, and you're dressed as luigi what makes it better is that luigi is one of the people rooting you on-
That’s the Penguin Detective from the Train chapter. He calls you Luigi throughout the whole chapter and finally learns his mistake during that scene. It’s funny that he was wearing the Luigi outfit though
While it wasn't the most difficult challenge, it was still interesting to see all the strategies you made use of! Honestly, I was expecting Trial Stew for some reason instead of Point Swaps, but those eat your FP as well. (... And are probably considered damage? Has anyone tested that?) The "can't touch this" dancing Mario transition was pretty jarring the first few times, but I got used to it. The editing has progressed positively since some of your older videos, that's for sure!
Can't even say. I know Point Swaps don't, and yet items like Snow Bunnies and icicle pops count as self damaging though. This game is weird like that. On a side note, if the transitions were jarring, I'll just have to keep experimenting. Don't want to cause too much dissonance within the video.
Appreciate the props to peeps watching your video. I happened across it and know it’s difficult to make long form videos. It takes a lot to time to edit stuff out and to commentate on the stuff that you keep on so that you can be entertaining without feeling like you’re boring people. That said, you did a good job explaining what you did while cutting out what you considered filler. May you find success.
Definitely felt like the restrictions you imposed made for such an entertaining challenge. Always love seeing the various strategies that highlight each partner’s strengths as well as niche badges. Great video 💯
Happy you think so! Funny enough, I still get comments on how superguarding breaks this challenge and I'm like... well duh. That's why I banned them. LOL
12:31 You know how at the end of Twilight Princess, Midna shatters the mirror? Here's my interpretation of that scene. Zelda: "Listen, Midna, I know you really like Link, but... He's sixteen. As the princess of Hyrule, I'm slapping you with a realm-wide restraining order."
@@PhantomAarantula They're funner to use than double Boo's Sheets, but at the same time, they're arguably even more broken. Could that be why you didn't use them in Chapter 8? Loved the Grodus strat, though.
@Koop Mostly because I didn't know much better ways to beat the bosses. Probably could have done better for the Shadow Sirens, but having 40 HP per enemy is a lot and I didn't see much else I could have done unless I wanted to use Clock Out a bunch. Was glad to do something cool with at least one Chapter 8 boss though
@@PhantomAarantula I think your Chapter 8 was still nicely done. For the Shadow Sirens, I was hoping for Triple Dip 6 Zess Dynamites on the first turn, but that's asking for a lot in terms of item preparation, and it's honestly not that creative lol. I still would've preferred Boo's Sheets over Clock Out because I'm not a fan of RNG.
It actually makes sense at @22:42 that Showstopper would be found by enemies that would not be affected as it seems as if they are guarding it or they are arent worried about it. Like they wouldn't want to hang around there if it was a danger to them so they are chilling and enjoying themselves because it might as well be a decoration to them. Know what I mean? 😂
@@PhantomAarantula i hear you. It just doesn't seem like an oversight as this game is filled with characters that are so alive that it just couldn't be a coincidence or anything like that.
6:55 About watching prologue pit one question I have with fire drive is Why does it does that bypass defense on top of hitting anything the base hammer hits and inflicting burn? Edit: 19:15 Danger Mario Strats were also banned by wording. The rules said you can’t adjust Mario’s hp. The wording didn’t specify going up or down so both may not be allowed. I do agree danger Mario as a setup is more or less exploiting the game to become a glass nuke.
Super guards are parry and repost, as it not only negates damage, but attacks back as well. Although, looking at it closely, there's no parry. Mario straight up punches the enemy before being hit. I forget what that's called, exactly. I think Hapkedo?
@@PhantomAarantula Final Fantasy Tactics called it Hamedo. But super guards, I think, should be allowed in both no damage and no hit, as there is no damage and Mario hits before being hit himself. :)

@John Rainsman Oh. No, this is a video game which is programmed to allow the player to perform actions that interact with other objects. Either that or a mod which... well would also take a massive amount of time to program. By chance, do you remember someone by the name of GamerFourFun?
