I love the big U shape opening, way better then the J shape of the Osprey Aether/Ariel Packs.
Wow! The 63 is such a great option! I had not considered this size but it looks comparable to the Deva.

In terms of back system, weight and trip of a few days what is better gregory deva or this jade? What is the essential difference between them?
Hi, thanks for watching! The Jade is a lighter weight pack, so it could be a good option if you're carrying less gear. A big difference between the packs will be the backpanel design. The Jade 63 has tensioned mesh, while the Deva 60 has more conventional padding (with mesh over top)
Is there any difference between this new model and the previous model that was purple? I went to Mec go try this new one but the old one used to fit me better
The main differences are a redesigned ventilated suspension system, an improved shoulder harness and an updated lumbar pad for support. The pack hasn't been entirely redesigned, but Gregory has definitely made some quality-of-life improvements. Happy Trails!
