- This video explains the difference between stringer beads and weave beads in a multipass weld on thicker materials. techniques and considerations for performing each type of weld.
Best video I've watched explaining how to properly weave. And I've watched ALOT.
this might prove to be the most important welding video I ever watched....
I didn’t really get how a weave worked until this video. Thank you.
That was clear as a bell, thanks very much
one of the best explanations on UA-cam of this subject.
All his videos are knowledgeable learn something every-time got me a tombstone teaching myself
Thanks, please do not stop! We need people like you
Man...I just learned more in 7 minutes than in the 8 years of loony bin/job! Thank you!
Great teaching style sir, clear, concise and sprinkled with humor. I love it. Another great video and a valuable explaination of why my weaves were unsatisfactory to me.
This was an awesome. Outstanding teaching style
Thank you kindly!
very in depth puddle control explanation , like it!!
You are a good teacher sir! Thanks for sharing and please do more videos like this! Very educational!
More to come!
Good Job explaining ,I just started to weld and love Mig and arc , thanks
Nice explanations
This is one of the most difficult expertise for welders, but It make the difference between them
A very good explanation indeed!
Thanks, this very helpful.
Thanks for explaining that. I usually run stringers but it looks like weaves leave a better looking bead if I needed to worry about that at some point.
Love the way you teach, thank you sir 👍
Thanks and welcome
I remember I was welding and the inspector told me to move up across a bit as you say, but when I do, that looks like a fish scale
Nicely explained, thanks
Thanks for the explanations !!!
Thank you so much 👍
Great video!!
Great explanation video
Glad you liked it
Many thanks
nice explanation
Great presentation.
Thanks for watching
I wish I seen this video before I took that 3g 4g innershield test
Thanks !
Thank you for sharing your expertise! I'm a new welder and would like to ask a question?
I've been watching others and their techniques. Some have used 7014 in place of 6010 for the root and for the higher psi as a new approved technique then they grind/cut into the weld with a sharp cutting disk and weld over it with 7018. Any thoughts?
So wat is best to do vertical up or vert-down on weave beads
Very Nice vidéo !!Just started in a welding shop just want to know if this can be used in metalcore welding ?
When you "move across the middle & hold on the sides". . . . .move across the middle & hold on the sides. . . . .move across the middle & hold on the sides. . . . how much time are you "holding" before you move across the middle to the other side? Are you supposed to do a counting technique during this whole weave bead running process???
Hold until you see the puddle wash and fill into the base metal, then move
@Mark Prosser Welds Okie dokie👍🏻Thankya for the reply back!
Why you say “acrossed”
There's a huge difference weaves put way to much heat into material softens it up changes the grain structure of the material stringers are proven stronger because your spreading that heat out most jobs I've been on have a saying you weave you leave
Why can’t you weave?
