    Awesome and accurately planned. I love the vibrancy of the pattern & fabric, but being dyslexic I could never achieve this. You are likely great at art & math! 👍👍👍

    I never would have wanted to try this pattern but you explained it so well I feel I have the skills to try. I especially liked the idea of the paper at the start of a small piece of fabric so my machine doesn't eat my fabric. Thank you!

    Oh, how I hope and pray that you have a tutorial for the Dazzling Diamonds. I never even knew this technique existed until my husband gifted this complete kit to me. I have watched old tutorials by Jacqueline de Jonge. But for a beginner, I want step by step just like this video. Is that a possibility?

    Love her patterns and found her videos too on UA-cam. Been thinking about trying on of the patterns. Love how you show using a small piece of paper under the fabric so it won't bunch up at the beginning of the sew. Been dealing with some issues on a quilt I am doing now with bunching. Thank you. Your quilts are gorgeous

      Hi Mario: I was very intimidated by the look of the finished quilt initially. But it turns out paper piecing is the easiest as you only so stright stitches on paper dotted lines. There is only one tip. Line up your stack of fabric and paper correctly. Delilah has this explained to a full proof Tee in the beginning of our Elephant extractions tutorial. Just repeat those few basic steps in that order and after about 5 times you'll have it for life. Then it becomes the simplest quilting technique and very relaxing. The elephant abstractions was our first try at paper-piecing. You can do it. Alain

    I think it is so cool watching a guy quilt. The men have a unique way of making quilts as in maybe in a past life they were architects and points, lines edges etc are so right on, lol, but fun to watch. Where did you learn or who got you into quilting?

    Hello, I have recently discovered your channel as I have recently bought the chasing dreams kit, thank you for your guidance. Could I ask if you have a pattern for the red bargello quilt that is on the wall where you are spray basting the quilt top? X

    So this is a level 3, and she goes all the way up to a level 6. I guess this is where I would start. I've never done foundation piecing but it does look relatively easy, the same steps over and over. But I do see this pattern requires a lot of patience and accuracy.

      I took on this quilt as a beginner project. An introduction quilt before I did Enchanted stars. For me the tricky part was the interlocking circle. But, if your a visual learner the video has helped 1000's of people figure out how to accomplish this effectively. We see them at the shows. Great quilt to get your feet wet with.

    I don't see the point of extra seam allowance and trimming it off??? Isn't that the same as cutting the right size to begin with?

    • @cottagetreasuresquilting9289
      @cottagetreasuresquilting9289  3 роки тому

      We trim them up so they are square. It seems the process of Quilting the top always has it shifting an 1/8 of an inch here and a 1/4 of an inch there.

    PLEASE don't use markers on any portion of your quilt. It could dye it a wrong color after washing or the marker could be acidic. This is just a few things that markers could do to your quilted project that you have just spent days making, if not months. What I would suggest, try using a gray thread.
