This is a great video! My grandson (5 years old) walked in while I was watching an action adventure movie and he saw someone get shot and killed before I could change the channel. He had so many questions and concerns about what he saw, and I was able to get him to understand that what he saw was “magical movie Make-up”. Of course, he wants to try, so I’ll get a starter kit and be a guinea pig! I’m going to hit subscribe so we can watch more of your videos.
Blending is very essential to any makeup look and I like how you mentioned that a couple times. The purple color on the outside of the wound really makes it look realistic as if it were really irritated. The adding of the fake blood on the inside makes the wound pop and makes it look as if the wound were fresh. Also the addition of alcohol gives it that liquid effect. Overall I loved this. It was simple, easy, and easy to understand.
He looks so sweet and kind jjdojxiw whenever he smiled I got distracted lmao
Thank you so much for this! I couldn’t stop the scar wax from sticking, and kept messing it up. This really helped! :)
This is absolutely one of the very best videos
I have ever seen...

I always detail (color in and add bones or whatever would actually be under the blood) before adding blood. Is that okay?
Real looking wound👊
Pauls eyes are really beautiful
Shannon, I really like your tattoo. Do have a picture of your design or a more clear picture of your tat?

"My pleasure, it's all in a day's work"... words of beauty
I going to show up for work with something like that. Thanks to your video, I've gotten pretty good at make up stuff. Foundation, huh. Never thought I'd ever use that stuff.
Wish I would have known about Spirit Gum and alcohol in conjunction with the Ben Nye scar wax my first time. What is in Spriit Gum? is there an alturnative 'home-remedy' substitute I can use? I am on location so shipping & a supplie store is out of the question.
can you plz make the burn skin in simple ways???
Wow thanks for that!!
ohh very good job girl.
Thanks ma this is very nice
Loved it 😍😍😍👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤awsome videos
Very cool and realistic. I'd like to find out how to do it in reverse. I already have the wound from a Mohs surgery, and I am looking for a way to fill the wound and make a latex prosthetic that looks 'normal', without having to go through a lengthy, expensive, painful round of multiple surgeries. Something I can take off and put on as often as it will last, before making another. Can you direct me to a tutorial on repairing an existing wound?? In other words, creating a part that is gone (so no base for a mold) and putting it back before the surgeon's knife took it away. I had a 'cheek flap' surgery to try to rebuild it, but the flap 'died' and had to be removed, leaving the last resort of a nasty 'forehead flap' surgery, that I am going to pass on if I can build a prosthetic that will do the same. Anything you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks.
great...and easy method....
Hermoso y fácil 😍😍😍
Did you buy the wax or you made it yourself. Wouod you share the recipe? Thanks and awesome video, short, fun and seems very easy! :D
Nice blending.... The blood beaded up quite a bit, however. Try adding a little Clear Dish soap to your blood or even Kodak Photoflo... this breaks the surface tension of the blood. Alternatively, ou can brush a bit of clear dish soap over the area where the blood will be applied.
Nice work!
Awesome thank you!!!!!!! You made it simple easy peasy!!!! I have a personal mission to make some Ocean-Awareness-Activist-ART! It will involve performance/costume art - with me appearing as my Mermaid alter-ego :) I’m excited now! I need to get all my supplies & my act together by Oct. 😊 you guys just helped me on my way - thanks for this QUICK simple tutorial! It makes sense now, I was wondering how this stuff was done.... I’m going to have like.... the most fun I’ve ever had with this :P :) ✌️👍💕✨🌊🧜♀️

Just wondering... Is it easy to reuse the scar? Say you're making a movie and you have to take it off at the end of the day, and then put it back on the next... Would I be able to use it over and over if I am careful or do I have to remake it every time? Or is there another way I can make scars?
No, you would have to remake it every time because the wax stays soft which makes it hard to keep shape if you take it off. It doesn't take much wax to do a cut like this, so you're better off making it fresh every time.
Bubble Monkey Okay! Thank you so much
no, but if you use liquid latex, you can re-apply over and over again just using some adhesive. And liquid latex is a little more realistic.
Nice lovely
very nice
Awesome 😃😃😃😃😄😃😄
good job
won't powdering cause the wax to move? i have found it difficult to put on any powder to allow for makeup appliance
Use a light, fluffy brush with light touch movements
where to get scar wax
Yes
Awesome
Im jusing asking...I started to watch ur videos ( btw I love special effects and ur videos) and just wondering...does the scar wax and spirit gum and all that come off??.....
Samara O'Callahan Yes, it will all come off. You can actually purchase Spirit Gum Adhesive Remover (which you can find on Camera Ready Cosmetics Website here: camerareadycosmetics.com/categories/adhesive-removers.html) You can also check out all the amazing Special Effects items that they have here: camerareadycosmetics.com/categories/shop-categories/halloween.html) Let me know if you have any other questions and I would be more than happy to help!!!
Jennifer Johnson oh ok...thank you!! so much!!
What if you don't have makeup remover ? What else can be used so the wax doesn't stick?
Starting your look with Mehron Skin Prep Pro will help you remove it a little easier!
Trying to make my recessed chin look normal with skin wax

Thanks for sharing.... does scarwax come in different colors?
Yes it does! It is available in fair, light brown, and brown: camerareadycosmetics.com/products/ben-nye-nose-scar-wax
@@CRCmakeup thanks very much.
May I ask another question. What kind of Acetone should I buy which is safe to use on skin? Which exact formula should I buy ?
I want to use it fro crepewool beard removal..
@@syedarmaghanhassan4652 Ben Nye Bond Off is great at removing any adhesive, we personally prefer it over using Acetone. Bond Off actually breaks down any adhesive, it is super gentle, and doesn't leave your skin feeling raw. For additional questions, feel free to reach out to our Beauty Advisors at beautyadvisor@crcmakeup.com.
@@CRCmakeup Thank you very much! So kind of you to reply.
THanks for sharing the email for further enquiries. You guys are doing an amazing job. Keep it up! God bless you.
Kind regards,
Hassan
hello, maybe some of you could answer it. Can i use glue? i mean i can't find spirit gum, stageblood, and nose & scar wax
You can make scar wax: 2 tablespoons corn starch, 1 tablespoon Veseline, and a little foundation.
You can make blood: Corn Syrup and Red food coloring
DO NOT USE REGULAR GLUE: Use Pros Aid Adhesive which easy to use and find.
I have liquid latex would that work
@@bradireiley1281 You can also use eyelash adhesive. BTW: in case no one figured it out, the part of this process BEFORE slitting the piece also works for making SCARS. Just apply makeup to the powdered off wax, then powder to set
This guy is sooooo cute 😍
ممكن اسم الاصق الي تحت العجينه
grea job mam
Is that skin or gum
Very nice your job
I am singer devdas kirade from MP district Khargone in India
Super
It’s more for show than anything. If you want that genuine realism I suggest using references. It’s not pretty but it will make your work look really well
if u don't have the sfx makeup palettes then how would u do it?
you can use eyeshadows, paint pallets you need to apply water to, grease paints. I use eyeshadows they blend really well.
+Jemma Ferraro thanks
nice
good
his eyeeeeees......off topic this was helpful
the wax its self make you break out?
no, it is good for your skin because it had vaseline
Bradi Reiley sweet :)
does scar wax dry? or does it stay soft and pliable?
+Victoria Martinez I think it stays soft, since it is generally made with a vaseline-like substance:)
Victoria it does stay soft but to make it stiff u need liquid latex
Aap kya lgati ho white sa
Mitti ke jesa
👍👍
Like u, very nice
How do you make it last?
The Adhesive (Spirit Gum) allows it to last all day, along with the PPI Flesh Tone Palette, since it's alcohol activated. However, you may always use a sealer for extra insurance, PPI Green Marble SELR Spray is always a favorite!
