You're my favorite fishing youtuber. I feel like like this is what you would be doing, even if you weren't filming it. So many fishing youtubers just try to push content on to us. I feel you're content is just natural and just who you are. Thank you for the content!!!
Nick, always enjoy your videos. Been fishing since a little kid and at 61 going to go back after a few years off next summer. You have made this year more bearable for me. Be safe and keep it going.
Like every episode your editing was the best by a mile on fishing youtube. the beautiful b roll shots are what absolutely kills me. Love the stuff, thanks nick!
Fishing always brought my attention but since I don't have any friends that fish I'd never give it a chance until I starting to watch your videos, this videos is what make me start fishing and I gotta say is an awesome feeling being out there , thank you for your videos and keep up the good work. Saludos from Cali 🇲🇽
Man, your filmmaking techniques 👌 all of your videos are literally a work of art, truly shows all the effort, love and passion that must go into em, awesome video as always!!
I really love your videos. I love your presentation and your music, but most of all I love your fishing. I've learned a lot and I don't have half of the hang-ups I had. Thank-you.
Always love watching your video's! Keep them coming, I love to fish myself, it's just hard for me to get out and go ! But I still love watching you catch fish.💜💜💜💜
Wonderful video! Man, you've got me wanting to get back on the water! You show true joy whenever you get a hit, and it shows genuine love for your sport! You're a commendable sportsman.
Another great one! :) And I'm always in awe how you can stay so calm and collected when you fall or something :P If something like that happens to me, it often results in a litany of profanities comprised of some good old English and Dutch favourites (the F word, for example, is pretty popular over here in the Netherlands as well) :P Same thing when I lose a fish... or get my rod tangled in branches... or when I'm happy, like when I catch a fish, or have some good food, or when I'm just sitting here on my own, enjoying a new 618 Fishing video after my fiancée left for work (yeah, I'm usually cussing like a sailor all day, every day).
Legitimately envy how many spillways you have access to and how beautiful the water seems to be.. lots of good spaces! I live VICARIOUSLY through ya brother!
Another great video as usual. Those drum look like such good fighters, iv yet to catch one. As for that bow fin the color almost looked like the markings on a pike very cool. Also it wouldn't be fishing if you didn't get a little wet. Big thanks for the videos makes my day when I get a 618 notice. Ty for sharing with us,also out or curiosity what was your biggest drum , I no it was in a video I believe awhile back but can't seem to find that exact video. Keep up the awesome job the quality is unmatched in my opinion.
Just started watching your videos man, and it's by far the most entertaining ones I've seen, but that was a nasty spill tho, but still kept going! Keep it up Nick!
I'm glad you mentioned that about freshwater drum so I know that there is someone else who shares my same opinion. They definitely *_do_* fight pretty decently, pound for pound, and isn't the fight what it's all about? It's just a shame that they are difficult to target, given that I've caught drum while bass fishing, catfishing, striper fishing, panfishing.. and pretty much every particular type of fishing I've done, drum have popped up somewhere along the road. Usually cut bait on bottom is the obvious choice and most likely scenario in which you'd catch one, but they just aren't really a targetable species.. aside from some particular places and areas, at least.
Love watching your videos, im from the UK your waters and adventures are really something else. Not to mention your original and have some sick editing skills. Keep it up buddy.
Another great video. Looks like you had one of my average days of fishing falling down, catching trees and the like. You still had a great day of fishing and you enjoyed yourself so, it turned out ok.
Fail is merely the First Attempt In Learning...I love this channel I have lived in Illinois most of my life and grew up close to a lot of the scenery shown in the beginnings.
Good editing, is happy catching the biggest and even smallest fish, never disgruntled all makes this channel super awesome. I just found this channel and I love it! It makes me start to think about how I want my channel to be in 2021!
Love you videos!!! Hope you can maybe get permission for some of those better locations in the future!! Big fan all the way from Brantford, Ontario, Canada!
Hi,buddy! I'm your subscriber who lives in korea. I recommend fishing with chicken's liver. In korea, it is realy good bait for bait for catfish. so I want to see you fishing with chiken's liver. Oh, and it's good to freeze the chicken's liver a little.
Yo Nick! Another great video, and excellent editing! Cool bowfin! Gotta ask a question, I am curious how you got the name "618" ? Been wondering for a while. Also, glad you left your " fancy footwork" 😂 in the video. Because, as a fisherman myself, that does happen!!! Tight lines!👍🎣
Dude takes a spill, chuckles... collects himself, then performs a perfect side cast from the very spot he fell. So good.
If you haven't slipped while bank fishing have you really been bank fishing?
@@Chrisc-ro8kv fact.
We've all been there, if not, you don't fish enough

Idea for a drinking game.
This is his trademark.. see ya later buddy...
And... "I can't believe it." lol and... "wow".
Epic wipeout in the intro, we've all been there.
My brother was fishing on a dam it was rainy that day and he slipped down 5 or 6 dam stairs, got cut up pretty bad
Who hasn’t had a boot full of water on occasion?
When I saw that fall. I said to myself, “I’ve done that soooo many times!”
Heck, that was me earlier today on the bank.
The "Oh jeez alright" broke my heart. Don't worry about it, falling in happens to all of us Nick
This guy has better editing then some netflix movies
Hardly,straight cuts🤣

Hey Man! This video was very well cut and compiled! loved the scenery, thanks for this!
Thank you for including that bit where you cast into the tree. I do that way too often and it's nice to know I'm not the only one.
I love that we get to see your fails / mistakes .... just makes you more relatable to us non youtube fish guys
Did u get a new drone? The drone shots and your editing skills are top notch! Love your content man!!!
I love ur videos and have been a fan since the mini lures! I myself am a multispieces fisherman, u inspire my ways of fishing now! Fish on

Gotta love that winter grind. You're doing great man, awesome fish. Keep it up.
Love how you include the outtakes at the end of a video. Makes you seem much more human.
I love the outtakes ! And the blue mouth of that bowfin!

You have the best B roll of any outdoor show!
That second drum was gorgeous!!
The markings on that Bowfin were really unique! Nice looking fish. Drum are so forgotten. They put up a great fight and are good eating too.
Drum are good eating out of clear water. Not spillways
Hey where is this? Pretty scenery.
@@michaelrichardson6285 couldn’t tell ya. Some place in Illinois
I’m ready for the next video with this nice weather we’ve had this week. Keep it up Nick
Forget the editing he should have his OWN Netflix show
Fun fact: Bowfin can stay out of the water for up to two hours!
keep doing what u doing Nick, pretty sure with the quality u put in each video, u will be able to reach a few mil subscribers soon !
Great content! I liked that blooper reel at the end. Everybody has been there! lol
Always a good day when nick posts a vid. I look forward to his spill way adventures every time 😂
Looks like Nick took a little spill at the spillway, hahaha. Hung tough though and caught some more fish!
Another beautifully crafted fishing video.
Never tire of them.

I am glad you didn't cut out the slip and fall, I laughed with you. Great videos Nick.
I know exactly what spillway that is! You are only about 15 miles from me! Great video, Congrats and God Bless!!!🤗👍🙏🙏🙏
I really enjoy your videos... slips, trips, rod tip in the tree - reminds me of my adventures!
This dude is amazing i enjoy watching his videos so much cause i see them in 4k and HD

Every day your channel is a PB congratulations Buddy hope it continues to grow. God bless 618 fishing and family stay safe happy holidays
Fishing has been absolutely brutal. You caught more in the first 4 minutes of that video than I've caught in a week.
402K, 1 Million here we come
I thought you were filming me! You know, the falls, the trees, etc. I knew it wasn't me though. You caught more than 1 fish 🐟 🤣
When you were bringing that bowfin up I thought it was going to be a nice brown trout, until you said bowfin. What cool colors man!!
Those transitions are on point!
I know the feeling when he fell at the start
Great video Nick - thanks. Was having 618 fishing withdrawals!
fishing was bad this week until today. Warmer weather really turned on the suckers and carp. Drum are underrated because they are delicious.
No matter the weather you never disappoint

I have never caught a bowfin. Thanks for the tips 618, I’m gonna try these tips in the 614.

That bowfin is looking like a forest snakehead. Such a pretty creature 💕
