For anyone wanting to know the difference between tortoises and turtles, turtles have flatter shells, webbed feet and are mostly aquatic (meaning they can swim). while tortoises have rounder and taller shells, stumpy feet with nails and no fins and they live on land. In case anyone wanted to know the difference, here.

My husband just surprised me with a pond liner! He knows how much I love turtles. Our city doesn’t take care of the wild turtles in the ponds so I do every single day. I had one when I was little but died bc I forgot him in our car & I was completely devastated.
The turtles in the pond wait for me & also swim to the edge when they see me & my dogs. My dogs love, love them & the turtles are not afraid of them..
So, bc our home is a condo but 5 floors with a rooftop deck but a very, very small side “yard,” we are building a small pond.I can’t wait to build it & to get my turtles.

Ghadahe Turtles can live on land and in the sea while tortoises can only live on land.
Ghadahe Turtles have webbed feet with claws and their shell is flat. And tortoises have no claws or webbed feet but their shells are bumpy.
Remember, all tortoises can be turtles, but not all turtles can be tortoises.
