    I just had this surgery today, that’s why I’m here, not painful, scary at first, also after when anesthésia wears off, just a slight burning feeling. Now curing. This was really interesting

    Very well done, but how do you make sure that the pins are positioned parallely? Or Donnerstag you accept a slight angle between them in the bone?

    I had a very similar injury. K wire drilled into end of small finger through phalanx, I now have no articulation in my last (distal) joint. I think this Suzuki frame would have preserved that. I wish I could upload X-rays for you to look at as they look so similar… I however did not have a good outcome as the most distal joint is fused.

      It's shwon its made up of I/V set rubber tubing.

      You can also use dental rubber bands .
      I borrow it from my dental surgeons colleagues

    Well, I just had surgery today for this, and it hurts a lot and my finger is stiff. When did they remove them? Is the rehabilitation slow? Do you manage to regain strength and mobility over time, or do you have less range? thank you

    Nicely done. I smiled when you noticed the hole in the glove. Happens to me all the time. I usually change 3-4 times during surgery, but I wear double gloves)

    thank you for the very nice explanation .my question is the shaft of m phalanx is displased vollary so why didnt you make the traction wire vollar to the reduction wire to correct the dispacement of the shaft of phalanx exactly in the same way you explained by drawing? thank you for all valuable videws .

    Thank you for the nice video. However, there is clear volar subluxation of the middle phalanx on the final radiographs. Also having the reduction wire dorsal to the traction wire might have helped in mitigating this.

    Hi Doctor… I am from Sri Lanka, I do have a question regarding my dislocated 5th finger of right side leg due to an accident caused two months back (23-11-22), surgery and the treatment was done but still the dislocation is same, i reconfirmed it by an Xray taken recently. I’m really unable to move my finger.
    Could you please give me suggestion on this?

      Active and passive ROM straight away and no pine site dressing. Leave it open.
