I want you to know how much your videos means to me. I had knee replacement surgery and I can't do much of anything. But your videos give me great joy by letting me see the world around me. Thank you so much.❤
The 1880s town was amazing. It's a little run down but that's honestly part of it's charm. It's been there a long time, and I hope it'll be there even longer still. When I was in Denver, my friend had a prairie dog colony right off his patio, and it quickly became my morning routine to have my coffee and watch the prairie dogs. And I'm not surprised that one let you pet him. Animals can sense a good soul.
So sad to see Buffalo Ridge Cowboy Town falling apart. It would cost a fortune to fix up all those buildings at this point. So, I guess see it now, because at any time it could be closed down for safety reasons. Thank You for sharing this roadside attraction with us.
This was a BRILLIANT video of CLASSIC roadside attractions. This was a FANTASTIC 👏 video, Jacob. Thank you for sharing all of these gems with your UA-cam audience! 🙏
Huge respect to you for visiting the old roadside attraction ✨️ also the footage of the prairie dog using iphone is too adorable 😮💨😫😍😍 love it. Don't forget to wear sunscreen ✨️
Jacob is truly committed to what he does ❤🎉 Every time I travel anywhere especially in East Tennessee I think about him and how inconvenient it would be while attending Moonshine tastings shopping attractions ...all the while documenting and describing in front of other people. Not to mention the driving!!! It is truly an art form that he adjusted to over the years. Very inspirational but don't know if I could ever put myself out there the way this man has for so many years❤
The 1880s town was amazing! It definitely brings its charm, and it's good for both young and old. Can't wait for you to see the State Fair footage Jacob!
Ah this made me so pleased. I haven't been to Wall in years, and now I'm looking to see if a summer drive is feasible. These videos give me major wanderlust.
The Cowboy Town in Buffalo Ridge is a unique time capsule, but...so eerie and a little sad seeing all those historical animatronics slowly deteriorating out there if they're really as old as they say. If only someone could give it all a proper restoration. With repaired buildings, better housed displays where things are protected from the elements, cleaned up professional signage that's easier to read, remastered audio played on new speakers so you can actually hear it...Man, that'd be kinda nice...No matter if it's outdated and a little cheesy, that'd be nice.
Thanks for including Porter Sculpture Park, we appreciate it! The two red sculptures are called THE IRISH MONKS, the sign was in the opposite direction of your approach to those sculptures.
I love the older animatronics. ♥ The cowboy town was really cool looking. I would've loved to have sat there and drawn it to be a town full of life. I appreciate your vids. Thank you dude. : )
So many neat things in this one, old west town, I really liked the metal sculptures, you had a good idea of putting your camera down with peanuts, got an up-close view of prairie dogs and actually pet them , Wall Drug is always interesting.
Was at the sculpture park last year. Spent 20 minutes talking to Mr Porter. Very nice guy and had interesting stories. Very cool place. Can’t believe I missed the ghost town. We drove right past it
Thank you, what a unique adventure some of the coolest prairie dog footage. And cutest! I like the upgraded Wall Drug animatronic. Thank you Carpet Bagger.
Dude I love you Jacob thanks for taking us to so many amazing places I missed you by a day in Myrtle beach my son and I were just praying we would run into you stay safe buddy
Prairie Dogs remind me of groundhogs!!! And squirrels that are always all over my yard . The squirrels will destroy very flower or plant you own if you turn around, not kidding. I have an Oak tree out front nd they hide their acorns and destroy all my beautiful flowers. They are my arch- nemesis
Wow, your trip to the old Cowboy Town was one of the first of your videos I ever remember watching on your channel Jacob! I love those terrifying, barely-moving mannequins with the creepy audio. Glad it's still there. I'd love to visit someday.
Thanks for bringing back memories of my time at Walls Drug Store back in 1968. My mom and grandparents with me in tow drove from South Central PA to Seattle, WA. We then flew to Anchorage, AK to see my brother. He was stationed at King Salmon Island in the Air Force. That was my first airplane ride. I loved seeing the prairie dogs and antelopes. I also counted the oil rigs each day. Safe travels.
i haven't been able to shake the buffalo ridge cowboy town since you first went to it... something about it is so quintessentially roadside america that it almost feels too good to be true. glad you made it back, and damn i gotta get there myself. great video as always, thanks jacob!
Awesome video Jacob 🌟🤩 So many cool things to see in South Dakota ✨ I love the sculpture park 💖 Everything else was neat too but then prairie dogs on the top was amazing 🙌🌟✨💗😻
Great video as usual! The Old Western Town was fascinatin but needs some TLC. The Sculpture Garden was unique and fun. Too bad the Sculpter didn't come on Camera to share some information. Wall Drugs (which I have visited) is always worth a stop. My favorite part of the Video were the Prarie Dogs.

That prairie dog shot was awesome! 🤩🤩
I know it was a ground hog and not a gopher, but I couldn’t help but sing the theme song to Caddy Shack. So adorable.
Ah this made me so pleased. I haven't been to Wall in years, and now I'm looking to see if a summer drive is feasible. These videos give me major wanderlust.
Sorry that Jen wasn't with you this trip. I would have loved to see her reaction to some of the goings on. Hugs to you both, enjoy life..
I need someone to check on Jen!!!

Ok the birds attacking you at the dragon sculpture was by far the laugh out loud moment of this video.
I remember going to wall drug store when I was a kid. Thank you for bringing back the memories of going there

Carpetbagger!! We loved today’s vid!! Best part..the fireworks!! Anytime you stumble across a small town firework store, don’t be shy 😮❤
So many neat things in this one, old west town, I really liked the metal sculptures, you had a good idea of putting your camera down with peanuts, got an up-close view of prairie dogs and actually pet them , Wall Drug is always interesting.
I was just waiting for one of the prairie dogs to grab the camera and take it into its burrow.
Was at the sculpture park last year. Spent 20 minutes talking to Mr Porter. Very nice guy and had interesting stories. Very cool place. Can’t believe I missed the ghost town. We drove right past it

For being such a sparsely populated state, South Dakota has a lot to see
I love the "old west" sites in Kansas Arizona etc. To me, it's just a really cool unique slice of Americana. Great video as always Jake
If I had to rank the roadside attractions you've visited, I'd put Cowboy Town in the top 10! So cool! Thanks for recording this gem!
I help him out with his buffalo when he needs it here and there. He also sells fireworks when it’s time! He’s a great guy!
The largest sculpture resembles the Egyptian Aphus Bull. WOW!! I am glad you shared this!! Thank you!

Jacob sweetheart an art easel is where you put the canvas. What those were those are pallets or color palettes where you put the paint.
This place was eerie in your last video
A little correction for you: John Wayne's given name was Marion Robert Morrison.
