Dude need help! When it reboots to recovery its stuck on < waiting for any device > already bootloader unloced (i think so) flashed unlock code.bin and did the fastboot oem unlock... after that i tried like 4 version of fastboot images and no luck, did a rollback to Tmobile 10.5.7 firmware via MSM tool, did all the previos steps, unlocked bootloader but still no luck!! Please I need detailed help

Hey Aaron,a little help out here.i got my bootloader unlocked and ready to go.I've downloaded all the files.extracted global rom.but what's with the msm tool file named instantnoodlet with the version i downloaded.i just can't seem to understand it's part cuz I'm new to OnePlus and there is no mention of it in the guide.i saw you're xda thread and still confused.

Well I ended up with a Crashdump Mode. Can't recover or do anything now. ty
So for people that are android 11 flash back to android 10 using msm download tool, Re unlock bootloader then it should work with what the video shows. I tried with 11 and it just light bricked my phone every time . But now it is working great with global . Thanks
I'm able to go through everything until the 2 minute mark. The device reboots into the oneplus simple with the 3 language selection, and my command prompt is stuck saying, "waiting for any device" Ideas on how to proceed?

you need unlock the bootloader, install a custom recovery, flash magisk, and run some commends with super su, all the instructions in xda, but in the video they didt the persist and modem backup, why? i dont know
@@brain72 I just gave up. I bought a pixel. That way even with buying it from T-Mobile I still get updates and betas. I don't understand why for some reason, apple and Google get special treatment from providers while others like samsung and oneplus can't even update their phones. Like tmobile is not a phone manufacturer. I'm sure the manufacturer knows what they are doing. Why do they have to meddle with something so simple.

when the global rom installed when it rebooted it just goes to fastboot the firmware is not loading
So I converted my T-Mobile OnePlus 8 to global rom without the unlock token or enabling the oem unlock highlighted i just have to find out how to sim unlock.

Why aren't there a link for the files, I downloaded the 10.5.12 global file and there's no flashall.bat file. I see your file size is 7.94gb.

No it won't. Flash it to global, lock the bootloader and then reset the phone, it will be as fresh as new global phone

@@NIGHTMAYRES I got into that same situation. Use the msm tool to reflash your phone.
You need to be in android 10 NOT 11. Using the msm tool will reflash your phone to stock Android 10 t-mobile and relock the bootloader. Just unlock again with the same key they gave you AND DON'T UPDATE THE PHONE. Keep it at 10 then follow the videos directions. Once you flashed it then with your global rom that you just installed you can update it. It's a small pain in the ass but after that you don't have to worry about flashing it anymore.

Si, en la página oficial de Oneplus.
Pero primero tienes que solicitar a T-Mobile el código para el desbloqueado del bootloader (qué por si solo no lo recomiendo) ya qué no puedes instalar de la Play Store aplicaciones como Netflix o Disney + (pero pues des descargar las apk por separado e instalarlas sin problema)
Al menos que hagas el proceso completo de instalar la versión Global y bloquear de nuevo el bootloader (qué fue lo que hice de nuevo)
