Hello from Albania 🇦🇱🇦🇱 I have also been to Turkey, the street food is very good, the kebab, Turkish pizza, dolma and baklava with sticks are very good 👍👍
Luke, have you thought of contacting Refika, the famous Turkish Chef, Cookbook writer and UA-camr while you're there? She has a fabulous UA-cam channel and she is a wonderful and very hospitable person. She's my go-to person on any aspect of Turkish cooking, classic and modern and she has made videos with UA-camrs from all over. She's based in Istanbul with her team and she makes Turkish and English videos. She also has a whole slew of wonderful Turkish produce and equipment at Etsy. Think about reaching out to her while in Istanbul as she is a wonderful, friendly and very knowledgable person and IMO well worth going to Turkey to meet. Check out her details on UA-cam.
I also enjoyed seeing some of Lukes family. And I agree, Turkish food is great. I dont eat meat, but there are many really tasty vegetarian dishes, and as I love fish and seafood, I am spoilt for choice :-).
I had Testi kebap (the vegetarian version of it, as I dont eat meat) twice when in Cappadocia, and I very much enjoyed it. Cappadocia is so beautiful and Türkiye in general is wonderful, with so much culture, beaches, nature, great food and amazing hospitability. I cant wait to be back there in two months.
This is a great new video! But I will also say that I agree with his recommendation of Rosetta Stone!! I am learning Japanese and completing more of my knowledge of Spanish with these lessons. If you get the lifetime program with the discount that he offers, (Which is what I did) then the price will include a lifetime access to not only the language you want to learn but every other language in their system! So get it and learn everything that you want!
Thank you for this great video Luke. I really like your channel and hope that you will get more subcribers soon, as its well deserved. About mandarin: I think you (and Sabrina) used to live in Taiwan, didnt you speak mandarin quite fluently when that was the case ? Several years ago, I travelled around China for a year, and before that I learned mandarin, and after a year of travelling alone in very untouristy places, I was quite fluent in it. But then unfortunately I didnt use it anymore, and forgot most of it. I really want to try to "catch up" on it, and maybe I will try Rosetta stone for it. Not for mainland China, but for Taiwan, and out of interest.
By the way, I am using my other friends account so yeah I am not gonna say my real name but I’ve met you and I’ve met. I was at the cottage with you guys.
I dont think the new direction of video is working. The majority of the video is lots of awkward silences waiting for reaction. i think if they had more time rehearsing off camera, this could have worked out better. this is for both your brother and gf. good luck on the editing of the next episode.
True Etli Ekmek is Konya Tandir Kebab. . . the one here is a new invention under the name of Etli Ekmek, not the real Etli Ekmek .This is some sort of Lahmacun . . Look for Real Tandir Kebab of Konya and give your taste buds and feast!!!
By the way, every time you eat meat you keep calling Mutton meat. Do you know what Mutton meat is? Mutton is an old aged sheep and is not a favourable cheap cut. . . . Meat you are trying in Turkey is usually, lamb, veal or beef. Mutton is usually used in India for curries, because it is a cheaper more smelly cut of old sheep, and curry spices will hide the smell and its cheap meat, not good meat

You guys are a bit ridicilous. . . Dessert called "Between Sheet Metal" ? . . . . It is actually translated and called "Sweet Philo Pastry" . . . Please stop making up BS as you go along. Ask and learn better please

what an incredible video!!
Greetings to you from Nevşehir, the center of Cappadocia, my friend. You should also try the Testi kebap, Nevşehir pan dish, it is delicious.

No bacon
Actually some places do, but rare!

That's a shame for Sabrina. Now you have copied mark weins sonny side etc with your own Thai bride. Poor Sabrina.
What does even mean? They broke up years ago lol
Nothing is a shame… they have both moved on … everyone is happy , that’s all that matters!
This schmuck living under a rock 🪨 for 2 years. Wake up
What difference does it make, Thai or Chinese? Mark has nothing to do with it. And I like Mink more 😊
