Scored 2nd highest marks in mains in whole India among all the categories( GENERAL- creamy layer /OBC-creamy layer , GEN-EWS(GEN-NCL) , OBC-NCL , SC/ST).
The cutoff of Gen-Ews category is 79 and she scored 83 in pre.
She has achieved all these in her very 1st attempt.

120+ had secured below 700/650. Prelims can give you a chance to write mains but it has no guarantee that you can become an IAS officer

Before I show you the marksheets of both Ria Dabi & Tina Dabi let me give you a brief introduction about their family.
Then you will be able to figure out ( not even guess ) whether Ria Dabi used reservation or not for UPSC CSE 2020.
The grandfather of Ria Dabi was a reservation user ( to get into CSIR )
The father of Ria Dabi was a reservation user ( to get into IES )
The mother of Ria Dabi was a reservation user ( to get into IES )
The elder sister of Ria Dabi was a reservation user ( to get into IAS )
Now what in the world makes anyone think that Ria Dabi would be some sort of Saint to not use her reservation quota.
Ofcourse she will use the reservation quota when her enitre family tree is based on reservation quota.

I am 2004 Batch IAS officer Rank 17 - Compare to now a days interview those days were very challenging and less resources were there and Panel was extremely tough, Even at that time I was also shocked - How did I get through my Final interview.
In this mock interview the first mistake did Ria madam said good evening and interviewer said good afternoon 🥲

I am seeing a lot of hatred for her in the comments citing that she used reservation. Tell me one thing. The constitution has provided her the right to use reservation, what wrong is she doing by using that. Had you been at her place, you would have done the same thing. If she would have cleared from open category, people would have gone gaga saying she utilised one seat of general category. Come on just appreciate her for her success.
