The importance of constantly repositioning is actually really good. Cause there are times when you basically have the god position, so you get really stubborn and refuse to move from there. But from that refusal many things can end up happening. The ring ends up further away next time, every squad has their sights on you, or squads can slowly creep up towards you, and finally all their ults are charging, and they're often times getting ready to throw it at you. Honestly I knew this was a problem for me, but thanks to you just saying those few words I finally understand why it is a problem for me. I get way too stubborn, and think they'll just fight each other but they almost never do.
Back during launch me and my Titanfall friends had a huge advantage cause we already knew the movement system, guns, and sounds. I’ve been off Apex for a dozen or so seasons, and holy heck everything has changed. I still catch a few people with old Titanfall tricks, but Apex has evolved into its own beast to tame. Thanks for the tips.
So like you coached me this winter and I remember you addressed my aiming and how jittery it was for controller and that alc may not be the best option. Anyways I went back to 4:4 classic and then made that my base to work with. What followed has been one whole month of memorizing with my muscles how tuning each setting felt. And I locked in to the perfect settings that I’m very happy with. I’m not saying I found a god sense or anything but I found what I’m comfortable with tailored to the way I like to aim in most games. I still had to play a shit ton to get used to recoil control, I also spent time learning recoil patterns of all the guns I use. Basically just practice practice practice. Getting experience and actually analyzing your own gameplay is huge.
Actually ALC wasn’t the problem. You might’ve had your sensitivity too high with the response curve and deadzone too low. I’ve experienced and I have changed it to lower and my aim is far more consistent but I need to practise more lol
@@zzodysseuszz lol I feel yeah that was part of it. I had come back after a hiatus where I played nothing but destiny for six months so I ended up trying to replicate my sense in destiny. Changed my dead zone to nine and me response curve to 2 and I’ve had a lot of improvements cuz of it

Hey man I love your vids. They have really helped me rank up. I got diamond 2 seasons ago and I’m going to get master this season and a big part of that is bc of your videos. Anyway, an idea for your channel, take gameplay submissions from viewers, any rank, and break down the whole game. Kinda like Stylosa does with overwatch. I think you wd do great at that.
@@jackal1 Super late but the video just got on my feed 110 is good, but sometimes it makes everything either too small or "tunnel-vision like". 90's a good minimum FOV range in Apex because it helps you see targets easier without sacrificing too much view around the outside of your screen
. . . You are missing the most important of all. At the beginning of the game, do not fall where 70% of the participants fall, no matter what skills you have, you will most likely die.
Some people do this if they have pred as a champion... Because if pred will get a weapon and some good loot, all of people in match are most likely screwed.
Okay so I can pretty much win any 1v1 but I always die to the second or third person because my teammates don’t ever wanna push fights, is it worth just no filling because I’m playing like I have teammates when in reality even if they’re there, they aren’t doing anything
@MangosInTrees Not sure if it's in this video, but I have to say, one thing I learned from you, is to use extra voice lines when finishing an enemy (Yes, I never did this and specifically crafted suitable voice lines for this, and yes I actually learned it from your vids! Hahahaha xD)
I seem to play better when I'm in a party with players who have the same goal as me, when I solo que it's a lot harder to work with randoms that want to do what they want, it's rare for me to find a good random
Thanks for everything mango you can ask my friends Apex would piss me off and I would stop playing but that's no way to get better so thanks fam can't wait to be on the same squad one day
Got Plat for the first time yesterday, since I started playing Apex and that's when it launched, and I've learned that it's not that difficult getting it I always thought it would be hard without a good team but tbh my friends all let me down solo queueing is wayy easier
Honestly Solo Q is a great way to improve and learn to communicate. It is difficult when your teammates are terrible bit you learn from their mistakes. The ones that are okay or decent you learn how to play better.
The main problem I see in this game. Most games i get into, the randoms don’t stick together. There is to much ego, not enough team play. It’s very rare to get a tight team. This is Hugh for game play.
One aspect of fights I try to replicate is getting the enemy to shoot at my team mate and while they're distracted and looking away ill just one clip him
4:42 why doesn't anybody ever hit marvin up when he's ready for it? There's no animation, he's already loud AF and that makes him quiet for a bit. I for one will listen for an active Marvin to figure out if somebody is near one. And you can get an armor swap out of it. Is there something i'm missing?
there should be a quick loot option on deathboxes, its like a smart loot thing where it takes all the shit you need like instead of talking every ammo type someone has, it takes the ammo for the guns you have, also just in general that pisses me off when I first drop and I always have fuckinh shotgun/energy/sniper ammo taking up like 2 slots and have to manually remove them, so when you take ammo, it should replace that garbage, also random shit like grey sniper mags and shotgun bolts that you accidentally pick up.
to be honest game awarness and aim really matter for legends too its not only about playing them a lot. Because before when I tried rampart I couldnt play her well at all but now that my game sense and aim are a bit better i tend to have much more wins and kills with her than with any other legend
shes one of the legend where you relay on your skill first and then her kit. tho not gonna lie i get downed now and then when i try to use her ult for the lols :'D
The common mistakes I see are 1 not using tactical-ultimate 2 armour swapping quick or the rest of the game(cracked red but find a blue people are persistent to find a better when they know it's not always possible.) 3 desperate to take them out being thirsty or for a finisher. 4 landing super hot or on people 5 over peeking/shooting. 6 zero use of dialogue 7 lying on enemies health, how many and where they all are( quick mic switch on)
what about constant pings lags and packet losses as soon as theres enemy team around? or does this happen only to me and all my random teammates? I have an ethernet connection with 60 mbps connections which run all games at almost zero latency, why is only apex says itsd my problem that i have a bad isp? tf is bad isp i have one of the best internet providers in the country
My problem is my teammates steal my kills like I'll down 2 out of 3 people on the enemy team and while I'm chasing the last one they'll kill the other two and get the kill for it.
Seems like this guy knows a lot about this game I do not know anything about online games and having to learn what he's talking about kind of hard for me to learn all that crap and member all that in my head
God the number of times I've played with randoms, gotten top 3, and then died in a third party because we aggro'd a team for like 2 minutes instead of getting a positional advantage. Because guess what? That other team just heard our fight, and there's a 50/50 shot at which team they're gonna see first! I usually draw the short straw in that equation. Despite all your pinging, you get called out if you abandon your team for entering a lose/lose scenario. By some 5k kunai wraith that should really know better. Welcome to Apex.
4:10 everytime I play with my friend and I teamfire he starts whining like a bitch about how I stole the kill 😒😒 I'd would rather have an assist than be dead though
I don’t agree with letting your team mates die because if u were in that position u would expect ur teammate to Rev or get banner it only depends like if all pros were around ur knocked team or banner
What if you’re teammates are dying before you? With their bad positioning, awareness, etc.. how do you output 3 peoples worth of damage when your teammates are worthless? 30 ranked games yesterday, 26 times my teammates died off spawn, 3 games getting to mid round (positive rp) and 1 second place. I started hard ratting ( team drops hot, I drop 800m away). And went from -20 rp a game, to + 20.. is solo queue ratting meta now?
Ratting to Masters is absolutely a thing some people have done. It's... Controversial, at best. What I started doing when all my teammates were dropping on three other teams was manually selecting my legend every round. More often than not, jumpmaster would default to me and I got to land somewhere we could easily loot up and third party a popular drop zone.
How to die less and still be “rewarded”: Just rotate and don’t fight until the end. Look I love Apex, but fact remains that BR’s in general, tend to reward not fighting more than it does fighting. That’s neither good or bad, it just is. But at the same time, Arena shooters (Team A vs Team B) tend to feel more rewarding for many people because it’s a tighter measure of skill (by virtue or less RNG).
Kill points, in ranked you can earn a certain amount of “KP” that gives you RP (ranked points) and I believe that you can get 6 KP this season in ranked, (it might be 7, idk I haven’t played much this season)
