I legit enjoy the mig29 (9.12) more than the f-16 adf. Its just much more comfortable to play, the HMD and the fact you dont luck up very hard makes this plane relatively enjoyable and easy to fly.

Let's face it, the game went from a user friendly WW2 dogfighting sim to a WW2 combined arms arcade and then ended being a modern tank combat arcade with planes being secondary... some say it even has those floaty things, what do you call 'em?. In other words they no longer care about how mid/low tier is a shitshow, they barely care about high tier aircraft because they can still use them to make more money and no one cares ships even exist anymore.
Man i really wonder if Gaijin would add the Mig-29 OVT in one or two years, 3d thrust vectoring would be a big step in gameplay as well as AESA or PESA radars
10:30 I have to disagree here. I’ve done a lot of tests on the MiG-29 after the FM nerf, and the current FM is correct. On the other hand most western planes have a completely overperforming flight model (like the MiG-29 was before). Also the MiG-29 could fire the R-27ER with a simple FCS software update, seeker is the same as R-27R, the N019M radar of the MiG-29S is not needed
9.12 and 9.13 can use R-27ERs, Ukrainian ones use them all the time. And they're in the manual as well. And the FM isn't artificially nerfed, its 1 to 1 to the manual and EM charts. I've seen it tested multiple times and it lines up 100%. The problem is the F-16 over preforming a bit.

If FM is actually real, then i would like Gayjin to rework F-16 line FM (9G limited fly by wire and inability to pull any AOA when under like 200kts). But who am i kidding, Gayjin personnel would drown in US main tears if they ever even came close to that.

The mig 29G does bot get the better RWR the only Upgrades it gets is the r-73 and the slightly better (fuel efficient) engine. With the flankers beeing 13.0 again it's gonna be outclassed again, like it used to be.
mig29 at 12.7 in sim is actually busted (if 12.7 is max br for the lobby). majority of planes you fight don't have launch warnings so r27er slaps, the only thing that can outdogfight you is a shitty f16 without radar missiles and the irst is extremly good at sneaking up on people and gifting them an r60m. And if you are a dick you can send r27t at people on the runway.
After I got the Event F-14 I played 1-2 games and then quit this got forsaken game. I'd rather goon for the whole day and not do anything productive for the rest of the week than trying to research everything for f-14 in shitty top tier matchmaker especially after grinding 100s of games to get the plane. I hate this game so much it is unreal, fuck Gaijin. Russian devs are biggest 50/50 either good or bad but no in between

Sub-tree would be cool cause there’re too many unique aircraft to make all of them prem/event and at the same time not that many to make it a separate TT. Also Serbia has very close relations with Russia so in case if it’ll be Russian sub-tree we’ll be even able to see Rafale (Serbia is going to get 12 of them) in Russian TT which is cool imo.
