This completely broke my heart! Every time Caillou got hurt, I wanted to either call CPS or to pick him up, hold him in a tight hug take him to the hospital and bring him home with me! At the same time, I think that episode was meant to open the storyteller's eyes that he needed to get away from his wife instead of just accepting the abuse.
I have a theory about this episode I think Caillou's parents are abusive to him for a reason: Caillou might've hurt Rosie somehow that made her go to the hospital and because of that they were so angry at him and they also had enough of Caillou's whining that they've decided to abuse him to teach him the lesson by making him do all the chores, beat him up, and not listening him about a spider bite and a broken leg that he'll learn not to whine so much and they probably wanted him to die so they don't have to deal with him anymore! But abuse is no way to teach your kids lesson it just make things worse and probably make them bullies at school which might be a reason why some people are bullies because of their parents and they might even grow up to be criminals in the future! But that's my theory!

Here my explanation on why Caillou hurt Rosie. A few days ago before the main events of the episode, Rosie was playing with one of Caillou favorite toy cars, when she accidentally broke the wheels. As Caillou wants to play with pretend racing with his cars, he saw Rosie holding his broke toy car. Very angered about this, Caillou beats Rosie very hard with his fist. With Rosie screams of agony, Boris and Dories rush upstairs and found Caillou beating up Rosie.
Might be the reason why Rosey wasn’t mentioned in the story. I hate the show Calliou but that doesn’t mean he deserves to be beaten, yelled at, force to do chores, or left for dead. Don’t you agree??

I have a theory on the episode itself. The episode was meant to serve as the unofficial series finale to the show. What I mean by unofficial is that the episode was only meant to be seen by the staff and crew as a final project. The staff of Caillou were allowed to make an episode of whatever they wanted as a form of stress release (almost like an aninated version of the Rugrats storyboard jam) and this episode was that last project. Onto the episode itself. Caillou is know for using his imagination alot, and this episode could reveal the whole series and most of the characters including Rosie, Gilburt, the grandparents, Ms.Martin, and all the classmates were apart of a world Caillou imagined and this episode revealed what home life was truley like for Caillou. As for the parents acting the way they were, Caillou was on the spectrum (not survily, but enough for the tantrums to be common) and the parents were ableist and saw Caillou as a screw up. But that's just my theory and I'd like to hear yours. EDIT: I decided to remove the aspect of Caillou being on the spectrum and the parents being ableist. Instead, I think the parents suffer from Bi-Polar disorder explaing why they were acting somewhat normal in the beginning of the episode.

Sequel Idea: The scene cut two hours after Caillou died of his spider bite, Boris came downstairs and falsely called for him. Once he got no response, he looked down and saw him dead at the bottom of the stairs. He muttered something under his breath as if no one could hear him, but the audience heard it all too well. "Good riddance." The scene jumped to Doris at the table, setting dinner at the three open spots when Boris entered. When he first saw the food on his place, he turned sharply at Doris and said in a very harsh tone. "What the heck is this?" "Meatloaf." Doris said in an indifferent tone of voice, as if she were trying to avoid his wrath. "Why?" Boris then glared at her. "We had this last night, can't you make anything good for once?" Doris was taken back by this comment. "B-but I thought you wanted this tonight." It was then that Boris stood up sharply and stared her in the face. Doris then slapped Boris in the face and rushed towards the basement and swung open the door. What she saw at the bottom of the stairs was more horrific and nightmarish than she ever could have imagined. There, on the floor, lie her son. Dead as a door nail. His skin was now gangreene from the Spider venom, and his body was sprawled out like a doll. Seeing this, Doris fell to her knees in a hysterical sob, wailing into the air as she covered her face. She then rushed down the stairs and held Caillou's lifeless body, crying and apologizing between sobs. :Oh Caillou, I'm so sorry!" She wept. "I'm so sorry! My baby boy!" However, as she wept, Boris just stood there in the doorway, holding the section of his face where she slapped him. He had a sick, perverted smile on his face as he shut the door behind him. "You stay away from me!" Doris yelled at him. "What did you do to our baby?!" "What we needed, you stupid woman." Boris said in a dangerous voice. "He was such a whiny little crap, and he took too long to die. So I wanted to move things along. But now that you know the truth, I think it's time you learned something." He grabbed her by the neck and forced her down to the ground, where her tears soaked the floor around her. He then lowered his face down to her as he sent daggers into her eyes with his evil gaze. "I wear the pants around here. It's high time you learned your place. i can do whatever I want when I want to do it. You can't do a thing to stop me. I hold the power here. You're just the stupid help. However, I never said you wouldn't be useful." His perverted smile came back to his face as he grabbed something from the boxes Caillou was sifting through when Boris ordered him to clean the basement. He pulled out some iron chains and set them on the ground. He then turned back to Doris, who tried desperately to get back to the door. Unfortunately, Boris would not let her get away so easily. He sprung over and tacked her again. He beat her with his strong fists until she was covered with bruises. He stood over her and unhooked his belt from its notch. "Now, let's set some rules...."
If that happened in the sequel then someone heard screaming and called the police immediately and when Boris was going to do something horrible to her the police pointed guns at him and told him to freeze. After that Boris was sentenced to life in prison for abuse at the same moment Doris divorced him. Nobody knew how Boris was this horrible. After Caillou’s funeral it was just Doris and Rosey alone. Doris wished she coulda done something to prevent this from happening.
I loved the message that came from this story the ending was so heart warming I may have hated cailou growing up (not because of cailou being a brat it was because of how boring i thought the show was) but here I think I've pretty much learned something!☺☺☺☺
I feel bad for the little guy. I hate Calliou as much as the next guy. But he didn't deserve to be abused. And the main character. I feel for him. But I am happy that he got a happy ending

If this had a sequel in the girls pov they’ll probably find another disk about a part two and three about Calliou secret. Part two when Boris and Doris are just favoriting Rosy (Calliou’s only little sister) and part three in the aftermath of Callious possible death of Boris and Doris are placed in jail.

I agree with you Shadow for the most part. But Caillou does need to be disciplined if he’s gonna whine. Not by child abuse, but by telling him if he doesn’t stop whining right now that his toys will be taken away and he will be in a time out for 4 minutes. And after his time out,tell him to apologize to them for what he did. But I do agree that child abuse is no way to discipline him.

my own version of this creepypasta: When Boris was asleep, A evil essence touched the face of the father turning Boris extremely strict, When Caillou woke up, He saw that Rosie had escaped the house by telling the blood trail leading out of a window. All of the sudden, Boris yelled for Caillou name and came downstairs to clean the house perfectly. Caillou decided to retaliate such a thing and he was slapped in the face and punched hard by his father. Caillou cleaned up the house as best as he could as Boris just started at him cleaning while Caillou was in pain. After cleaning, Caillou was given a full meal full of vegatables and no meat at all, Caillou ate the meal and procceded to run up to his room as Boris begun whispering a way to kill Caillou. At the night, Caillou planned to escape the house by packing his bags and during at this time, Caillou discovered a shocking secret about this evil spirit possessing his daddy. Caillou was immediately shocked and panicked just a little bit, Caillou jumped out of the window and fell, breaking his left leg and became all dirty, Boris heard the loud thud outside and checked outside, seeing a blood trail leading out of the fence and began following it, Boris saw Caillou trying to run away and began a chase scene. Caillou ran into the woods as his father kept chasing Caillou. Caillou found a small shack after outrunning his father. Caillou stayed there for a while in order to recover from the beatings Boris gave him. Caillou bulit a campfire to warm up but all of the sudden, Boris jumped out of the bushes and chased Caillou again. This time, Caillou found a small cave where Boris can’t fit through, Caillou went inside as Boris tried to grab his leg and twist it, Caillou crafted a knife and struck the dad’s arm causing Boris to scream in pain and left the cave holding his bleeding arm and screamed angrily as Boris tore his shirt revealing a muscluar sight and Caillou’s father picked up a sharp ass axe and ran to try and kill Caillou. EDIT: I decided to remove the aspect of Caillou being on the spectrum and the parents being ableist. Instead, I think the parents suffer from Bi-Polar disorder explaing why they were acting somewhat normal in the beginning of the episode.

This is definitely a GoAnimate episode, pretty much like those Caillou punishment day episodes.
Those GoAnimate videos are TAME compared to this. At least Caillou in those videos actually does something bad that warrants him to get grounded. Here, in the lost episode, he doesn't do ANYTHING, and if he did, it isn't shown.

This reminds me of me when I was 7 my Dad brought me GTA Vice City I spent so many hours on it but it got me into a lot of trouble school included i was angry at people and lashed out at everyone but as I got older I started to know the difference between Fake and real but funny I never got it taken away

Sequel Idea:
The scene cut two hours after Caillou died of his spider bite, Boris came downstairs and falsely called for him. Once he got no response, he looked down and saw him dead at the bottom of the stairs. He muttered something under his breath as if no one could hear him, but the audience heard it all too well.
"Good riddance."
The scene jumped to Doris at the table, setting dinner at the three open spots when Boris entered. When he first saw the food on his place, he turned sharply at Doris and said in a very harsh tone. "What the heck is this?"
"Meatloaf." Doris said in an indifferent tone of voice, as if she were trying to avoid his wrath. "Why?"
Boris then glared at her. "We had this last night, can't you make anything good for once?"
Doris was taken back by this comment. "B-but I thought you wanted this tonight."
It was then that Boris stood up sharply and stared her in the face. "When I want a stupid female to make me a meal that I've had for three nights solid, I'll go out instead of dealing with your useless butt and the dumb KID!"
"Useless?!" Doris said very much offended. "I... I provide for this family, Boris Scaffman! I go out and work everyday while you stay here and do who knows what to Caillou! Speaking of which, where is he? I want to apologize for overreacting about the dishes this morning."
Her husband waved her off. "Just like a woman to keep her mind on a lost cause."
... It was pretty clear by now that Doris had had enough of her husband's brutishness as she slammed her fist down on the table, causing Boris to jump in fright.
"You listen to me Boris." She said in a murderously low voice. "For five years, I've been married to you. At first, you were a nice person. You had a job. You loved me. But now, that man's gone. And you're here in his place. You make me do horrible things to our children. It's because of you Rosie's in a psycho ward, and now you've made me treat Caillou like a a fricking slave instead of our son. "
"What're you so mad about?" Boris said ignorantly. "Besides, you don't have to worry about that boy ever again."
Doris froze after he said this. "What?"
With an impatient roar, Boris flipped the table over and slammed Doris into the wall. "Stop standing around and MAKE ME MY DINNER WOMAN!"
Doris then slapped Boris in the face and rushed towards the basement and swung open the door. What she saw at the bottom of the stairs was more horrific and nightmarish than she ever could have imagined. There, on the floor, lie her son. Dead as a door nail. His skin was now gangreene from the Spider venom, and his body was sprawled out like a doll.
Seeing this, Doris fell to her knees in a hysterical sob, wailing into the air as she covered her face. She then rushed down the stairs and held Caillou's lifeless body, crying and apologizing between sobs.
:Oh Caillou, I'm so sorry!" She wept. "I'm so sorry! My baby boy!"
However, as she wept, Boris just stood there in the doorway, holding the section of his face where she slapped him. He had a sick, perverted smile on his face as he shut the door behind him.
"You stay away from me!" Doris yelled at him. "What did you do to our baby?!"
"What we needed, you stupid woman." Boris said in a dangerous voice. "He was such a whiny little crap, and he took too long to die. So I wanted to move things along. But now that you know the truth, I think it's time you learned something."
He grabbed her by the neck and forced her down to the ground, where her tears soaked the floor around her. He then lowered his face down to her as he sent daggers into her eyes with his evil gaze.
"I wear the pants around here. It's high time you learned your place. i can do whatever I want when I want to do it. You can't do a thing to stop me. I hold the power here. You're just the stupid help. However, I never said you wouldn't be useful."
His perverted smile came back to his face as he grabbed something from the boxes Caillou was sifting through when Boris ordered him to clean the basement. He pulled out some iron chains and set them on the ground. He then turned back to Doris, who tried desperately to get back to the door. Unfortunately, Boris would not let her get away so easily. He sprung over and tacked her again. He beat her with his strong fists until she was covered with bruises.
He stood over her and unhooked his belt from its notch.
"Now, let's set some rules...."
Alternate Ending: Doris notices Boris looking at her, and she punches him until he dies.

If that happened in the sequel then someone heard screaming and called the police immediately and when Boris was going to do something horrible to her the police pointed guns at him and told him to freeze. After that Boris was sentenced to life in prison for abuse at the same moment Doris divorced him. Nobody knew how Boris was this horrible. After Caillou’s funeral it was just Doris and Rosey alone. Doris wished she coulda done something to prevent this from happening.

I loved the message that came from this story the ending was so heart warming I may have hated cailou growing up (not because of cailou being a brat it was because of how boring i thought the show was) but here I think I've pretty much learned something!☺☺☺☺

I agree with you Shadow for the most part. But Caillou does need to be disciplined if he’s gonna whine. Not by child abuse, but by telling him if he doesn’t stop whining right now that his toys will be taken away and he will be in a time out for 4 minutes. And after his time out,tell him to apologize to them for what he did. But I do agree that child abuse is no way to discipline him.

When Boris was asleep, A evil essence touched the face of the father turning Boris extremely strict, When Caillou woke up, He saw that Rosie had escaped the house by telling the blood trail leading out of a window. All of the sudden, Boris yelled for Caillou name and came downstairs to clean the house perfectly. Caillou decided to retaliate such a thing and he was slapped in the face and punched hard by his father. Caillou cleaned up the house as best as he could as Boris just started at him cleaning while Caillou was in pain. After cleaning, Caillou was given a full meal full of vegatables and no meat at all, Caillou ate the meal and procceded to run up to his room as Boris begun whispering a way to kill Caillou. At the night, Caillou planned to escape the house by packing his bags and during at this time, Caillou discovered a shocking secret about this evil spirit possessing his daddy. Caillou was immediately shocked and panicked just a little bit, Caillou jumped out of the window and fell, breaking his left leg and became all dirty, Boris heard the loud thud outside and checked outside, seeing a blood trail leading out of the fence and began following it, Boris saw Caillou trying to run away and began a chase scene. Caillou ran into the woods as his father kept chasing Caillou.
Caillou found a small shack after outrunning his father. Caillou stayed there for a while in order to recover from the beatings Boris gave him. Caillou bulit a campfire to warm up but all of the sudden, Boris jumped out of the bushes and chased Caillou again. This time, Caillou found a small cave where Boris can’t fit through, Caillou went inside as Boris tried to grab his leg and twist it, Caillou crafted a knife and struck the dad’s arm causing Boris to scream in pain and left the cave holding his bleeding arm and screamed angrily as Boris tore his shirt revealing a muscluar sight and Caillou’s father picked up a sharp ass axe and ran to try and kill Caillou. Caillou saw a opening at the cave and escape leaving his father confused. Caillou began crying and panicking as he ran towards another cave as Boris snarled and went back to his house. after just a few days, a search party found Caillou in the cave and ordered Caillou to get out and what he saw, was his real parents, A French family that was looking for Caillou for a very long time and both Caillou and his real parents finally reunited.
What Happened to Rosie your wondering? To explain Rosie was getting abused as well. When Rosie woke up. Boris was staring at her and screamed “GO CLEAN THE BASEMENT NOW!!” As it ended with a growl. Rosie ran as Boris followed her. When Rosie made it to the basement, Boris began to yell again, Rosie did not retaliate, and decided to clean the basement. After that, Rosie was tooken for dinner and it was a WHOLE BUFFET THERE! Boris ordered Rosie to eat it all and if she’s done, Rosie will be free to go. Rosie began eating as Boris made it upstairs to sleep. Rosie got a idea and wrote a warning to Caillou and placed it on his chest as he was asleep. Rosie tried to pack her bags, All of the sudden, Both Boris and Doris burst into her room and tried to grab her, But Rosie jumped out of the window ended up breaking her arm, Rosie began running as the parents try to chase her. Rosie set a trap to kill one of them and when Doris was at the trap, She fell into a pit full of snakes and got eaten. Boris was screaming “NO!!!!” As he threw a rock at Rosie but thankfully it missed. After Rosie ran a few miles out of the neighborhood, She built a small shack for her to stay in and a disguise. When Rosie disguised herself, Boris came and told her “Where is Rosie?!” Rosie panicked just a little bit and pointed to a house and Boris begun running there. Rosie ran to Leo’s house and begun knocking violently. When Leo’s parents saw Rosie, They came and opened the door and Leo hugged Rosie and said “Oh my Rosie my poor sister! What happened baby?” Rosie said “Daddy hurt me, Chasing me” Leo was shocked and decided to talk more with Rosie in his room.
Even though I didn't care for Caillou when I was a toddler. This has to be my favorite story written by The Shadow Reader himself.

Er... I'm pretty sure spousal abuse is illegal, and if this guy was getting beaten with belts, he'd be able to show the bruises to the police and she'd be arrested. Secondly, if she hates men to the point that she's in a club devoted to hating men, why didn't she divorce him? I'm just kinda worried about the idea that the author has about how domestic abuse is handled. Society has changed a lot since the old days. People now realize that abuse knows no gender. There are several outreach programs and organizations dedicated to helping male victims of domestic abuse (the Rainbow house, The National Domestic Abuse Hotline, the Mayo Clinic. Even WomensLaw.org has a section dedicated to helping male victims of domestic violence. Every see the Hashtag "MaybeSheDoesn'tHitYou"?
As for the fear of losing his daughter, when the police showed up, he would be taken to the hospital and pictures of his abuse would be taken. Once they showed that in court, there is no way in Hell a judge would allow the daughter to stay with the mother, because the mother was the criminal. She'd absolutely be going to jail for assault anyway. I'm just saying.

I’m pretty sure Rosie might of died when Caillou was asleep from his parents. Maybe Rosie suffered the same thing Caillou did. Maybe Rosie’s death could be like when the parents snapped then Rosie was forced to do something and then Rosie unfortunately didn’t make it.
Or maybe Rosie realized what’s going on with her parents and Rosie attempted to escape the parents but was unable to rescue her older brother. Rosie might of snuck out when Caillou was away after she was abused and ran away to find her real family.
