I don't have this type of timer so am unfamiliar with it. I've been struggling to set this type of timer for my next door neighbour and have tried a number of different videos, but yours is the one that finally sorted it out for me. Great job mate!
THANK YOU!!! The stoopid instructions were no help what so ever! This video is perfect 👍 after 2 days of faffing around you have finally cracked it for me! Thank you so much! 👏👏👏❤️🦋🙏
Hi there, for some reason my timer has stopped working do you have any idea why? I’ve tried setting it again and for some strange reason my radiators are heating in the full house on a morning but when it comes to 5pm and the radiators come on, it’s only upstairs getting hot and not downstairs? Would really appreciate any advice!
Thank you - just got my first house and it uses this. I had no clue how to work it. Realistically, how long do I need to heat the water for? It’s a shame it doesn’t turn off automatically
What does thermostat do then? In my house I have controller upstairs near boiler and thermostat downstairs. So if I set time as you explain and turn thermostat down to 18°C it will work as you showed in video or it will only work if temperature drop down below 18°C in room where thermostat is? So confusing for me. Please help.
Did you find out at all? I thought the thermostat regulator is nonsense. Not sure what it does... I wanted the heating to kick in, if it's below the set value. seems this is worthless.

I’ve added a timer on by accident so evwrytime we put the hot water on the heating goes on too which we do not want, how would I go about changing this? We have re-set the control panel and nothing changed
My Baxi boiler keeps heating the water even though the water & central heating is set to off on my Danfoss controller. Does anyone know how to stop it (other then turning the boiler off completely)?
Mine is doing the exact same thing, also randomly leaking. No one that's looked at it has helped so far. So annoying as it's quite loud when it's running all the time.
Scarlett Park Hi Scarlett it turned out that the man who had been in to fix it left some valve in ‘manual’ setting in the garage (where the boiler is). Once switched to Auto the timer in the house started working again. Hope this helps. 😊
@@lifebosscoaching1310 Hi thanks for that reply. Just had a look and the 2 valves on the water tank are set to auto. The boiler downstairs doesn't have any settings on it to change though so looks like it must be a different problem. If I knock the whole system off and on it sorts it for a day or two then its like it gets stuck on. Never mind hopefully get it sorted soon. Thank you
There is a small square hole to the right that says R/S which stands for reset, use a non metallic object such as a wooden or plastic toothpick and stick it through there and you will hear a click and everything will be back to normal.

For ten years i just twisted the thermostat and turned on the hot water and heating maually by hand when i wanted it all on, and i got used to it and liked it , but an engineer came and messed about with it and i cant get it back to how i used to use it ,can anybody help me get it back to how it was please ?
Same here. So time consuming to understand how this programmer works and nerve-wracking. Some people just want to use heating on demand, according to weather and household needs. This thermostat programmer thingy is so wasteful; how come people used it in the past?? For now I guess we can only wait for the next boiler inspection and ask the engineer to cancel the automated programs.
Just found it out.. Press and hold the programme button for 3secs, the year will flash, press programme again, then you will be able to change time with +/- then press prog again to set.. 😀

How to get it to come on on demand rather than via programming...like other systems where you press the button and central heating comes on
Just keep pressing the SELECT button on the bottom left until ON appears on the display.
