Fun fact: that dish is not ratatouille, real ratatouille is more like a casserole as seen in the movie itself, that is a dish based on traditional french ratatouille, which is named confit byaldi.

Fun fact about that movie: They wanted to give all the rats black noses, but they consulted rat export Debbie Ducommun, who insisted all the rats have pink noses. That is why she is in the credits of the movie.

I love ratatouille but anyone else notice how Remy is such a good chef that he changed the first soup? It goes from what looks to be a tomato soup to the pale colour that you see
That always bugged me, but also, Linguine did spill a lot of it. Maybe Remy siphoned some out somehow and reduced the heck out of it so it would be brown and contribute to the creamy color after the stock and heavy cream added?
