‘02BAV2’ well at least the Comets mudguards can be proud of the fact that they were briefly part of a v twin😁. Anyway looking and sounding good. You certainly have a fine stable of machinery. 👍👍
Just pop the Comet's plates onto the Rapide. Who's going to know the difference? Unless you're pulled over by a vintage British bike aficionado police officer. Great to see this coming together in the last few details .
Neale Bradford hehe. They are king dick! Many of them belonged to my father-in-law and I also ordered a lot of tools several years ago and had them shipped to my dads place in Scarborough picked them up during a trip back to the UK. Best wishes, Mike
That all went without a hitch, have you got a 19" front wheel on the Rapide ? I see you have Shadow brake drums, a very good addition, you need a set of Lightening brake plates now.
That scruffy old Comet is going to be in your way now - just let me know when it's convenient and I'll book flights and come and take it away; completely free of charge.
Steve Chapman hehe. Yes, way too many Steve. The wheels have rim locks installed. I’m going to have everything removed and reset when I get new tires/tyres! Cheers. Mike
I have enjoyed your videos on the Vincent rebuild,I almost cheered when it gave that first cough
Hehe, thanks a lot Alan! I really appreciate your note. Glad you enjoyed them. It was a wonderful project. Best wishes, Mike
It’s getting more exciting with each episode as it nears completion.

Hehe, it is looking a little sorry for itself! That's going to be my winter project ;)
Seems to be a lot of balancing wire weights on one side of the front wheel?
