1- Check the fuse with multimeter, sometimes they looks fine but they are cracked 2- Check Battery and voltage regulator output voltage, must not exceed 14.5v 3- Put some Amazon cheap Led headlight bulbs and don't think anymore about it
Definatly think the LED thing is the way to go. Even looking into getting a light bar installed because if the bulbs blow out you always have another source. Good advice.
Had the same on my Super Tenere: both headlight H7 bulbs failed at once - both of the bulb filaments had blown at the same time?!. Fuse was OK. Has only ever happened once in 6 years. BTW here in the UK Super Teneres have the Yamaha modified headlight wiring loom as the wiring could melt but this was only on the early bikes: UK law requires that both headlights are wired to be always on and they cannot be turned off so I guess the constant current draw was just too high hence the modification.
Motard...Its virtually impossible to blow 4 filaments at once.I would check the old ones with an ohmeter to see what really happened. This is a mystery begging for an answer. Hope you provide one.! Cheers.
Yeah one of the things i found is that there is a recall on the wire harness. But im not sure, and now i realize i have 2 more lights in the headlights that are out as well but were out when i bought it.
