- How to emboss paper and fabric scraps without an embossing machine
episode 7 of the #junkjournaljoychallenge !
•someone asked me through mail how to emboss without a Big Shot, and so today I share how to do it!
•you can emboss without a machine: you can wet with water a piece of paper and put it in an embossing folder and then press it with a glass jar or a rolling pin (use what you have!)
then you can let it dry naturally or accelerate with an heat tool or a hair drier
and that’s it!
you can recycle a lot of leftovers or scraps from other projects and reduce your waste.
what do you think? let me know in the comments 🤍

if you want to take a part in the junk journal joy challenge
just do something with your scraps
and if you want to share, just use the hashtag #junkjournaljoychallenge
so we’ll can inspire each other’s
(oh don’t forget to tag me, so I’ll share your things in my stories 🌟)
I’ll do a video at least once a week (probably every tuesday plus something else if I can)
only rule: use your scraps (with other things or not… with every technique… no limits)
the goal is create an habit, a ritual
to do something creative every week
for self-care
to slow down
to have fun
…and to finally use all that scraps 😀
I hope to “see” you in 🥰
have a lovely day !!

I told my family I wanted embossing folders for Christmas in the hopes that my rolling pin would work because I don’t have a die cutting machine. I’m so happy to see your video pop up to confirm it will! Thank you!!
that’s great, have fun !!
hi friend! thank you for watching! more tutorials here: ua-cam.com/play/PL1lfDffonQoAk3g-UQEOtW5bvbgPfY3BM.html have a great day☺️
ps: it was useful? share this video with your crafty friends 🥰
Thank you for this great alternative to a machine. I was checking out the price and they're almost $200 with all the extras. No thanks I cant afford it. The fabric came out pretty good. I would use it. Thank you for sharing this video. 🌹❤️🌹❤️😊
thank you so much! I’m glad it’s helpful:))) ☺️
What an incredible eye and imagination you have for creating such beauty
you are so kind Kelly! thank you so much!!
What a fabulous idea Francesca. Still love to watch your videos. You would not believe I have had an embossing machine (electric) for over a year, but am too scared to use it. At least I am not scared of a rolling pin and water in a spray bottle. Thank you so much for sharing. From Rose.
Forgot to add Merry Christmas to you and your family.
that’s great Rosemarie! I’m glad that it’s helpful! Merry Christmas to you and yours too!
Try using the machine also, it is awesome, I was hooked to embossing after a couple of times trying. 😍
Beautiful. I bought an embossing folder not realizing you needed a machine and this technique works! I wish there was a way to stop the paper from warping but it’s still very pretty. ❤
I don’t know what you exactly means that the paper “warping” (it has to warp to create the emboss) but you can try this that it’s similar, maybe it works better for you 🌟 ua-cam.com/video/VGEQCfcTfB0/v-deo.html
Thank you for showing us how to make this. I'm going to try this. Very neat.
thank you Paulette 😍
Hey! Now I have a use for my rolling pin! (Since I don’t make pie crusts). Hehe😂

I used ink and water for my not so grate scrap, it turned out fabulous.

Really cool ideas and techniques........😻
They say you can do this with die-cuts, too, but I wouldn't probable do it with a wooden rolling pin..😀

Great Thanks
I’m glad that you like it, thanks for watching and commenting 🤍
The wooden tool is called a rolling pin. 🙂
thank you!
Yes this is how we tame our men😂
Merci !
🤍!
Beautiful.Did you make your beautiful fodder book from Fodder School?
thank you! no, I’m not in the fodder school. for the ephemera holder there is a tutorial here
ua-cam.com/video/XV1FlOLosYE/v-deo.html
and for the journal here ua-cam.com/video/EVFYE-js0N8/v-deo.html enjoy☺️
@@JunkJournalJoy Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year wishes to you ❤️🙏🏼
Bellissima idea ❤️ grazie 🙏 dove posso trovare quello "stampino'?
