I love dubstep but have never produced it and I am always so enamored when I watch people like you actually make it. It's incredible and doesn't get enough credit as actual music imo.
I love the serum stuff bits but thats the part I wanna see the most! same thing with processing too. I think seeing the arrangement is real cool but the post processing and sound design is the most interesting part.
Well, you're my go to riddim guy, Neddie. Definitely chill and fun videos. Also agree, show us the "serum stuff" you obviously have a good knowledge base for it!
I feel like more people would watch this if instead of writing "serum stuff" you actually showed the part of patches being made even if the video is 15 mins long.
That's amazing dude thanks a lot your vid is a perfect mix of a tutorial and a meme. Btw can you please give us more insights on the "serum time" and on mastering/post-processing? That'd be awesome
Thank you! I appreciate your support! In serum, I lay out the basic idea that I want for a bass. (For example, a growl), so I'd make a growly sound that doesn't have to be complicated. Then I'd go into post processing and do my best to take that, and make it as fat/chunky as possible without clipping/unwanted tonality. I use stuff like frequency shifters to alter the sound to get it sounding further from the original sound, until I hear something I like. Hope that helps!
@@NeddieOfficial thanks pal, as a beginner I find it very useful so even a basic explanation on how to use frequency shifters and stuff, on sound design overall would be very cool. Anyway thanks again and see you in your next vids :)
It would be dope for these type of 2 artist videos if you did an 8 bar buildup between the two artists you're doing. It can be a bit jarring to have the drop totally change styles with no transition between. Just a thought! Sick video.
Yeahhhh that's definitely a good idea lol. The only reason I don't do that is because of time, I remember this video taking a freaking eternity to edit just on its own 😂
@@NeddieOfficial I’m not complaining whatsoever. You’re a beast! Keep it up but I know that if you did that these tracks would instantly become play out worthy. Short intro, drop A, build, drop B, echo out. Would be a bitching DJ tool and get your tracks out there
@@k03hl3r I guess I could start doing that outside of recording time so that I don't have to edit it out, that would probably help with that hahahah. Thanks for the idea!
Hi friend. First, let me tell you that I loved your video, it will help me a lot when it comes to improving my songs. And second, it is not to bother you with this question, but as you surely know, many people have been looking for that drum sample that you showed in your video, myself included. At first I thought it was from push button bang, but after reviewing one of their sample packs, I came to the conclusion that it was not the pack I had been looking for. So, if you can still remember where you got that drum fill, I would be very grateful if you could tell me the name of the sample so I can find its respective place of origin. Thank you very much and I will wait for your answer.
We all love virtual riot
My thoughts exactly
And watt and milly lol
And Nate
Yup
8:05 wtf that sounded sick though D:
I wasn't a fan hahahha
Neddie is totally underrated 🤩
hahaha thank you dude :)
Great tutorial! Really does sound like Barely Alive. (And virtual riot)
Glad you think so! :)
Why it sound more VR to me though?
I like the vr logo in the font in the thumbnail. Sick song btw
Barely alive more like microwave

@Twinimi13 yes my friend it is virtual riott B)
Fenix moment?
@@officialkowai indeed
I’ve heard that joke before but it’s still funny
How can this man nail every single artist's sounds
But I love the riddim snares you used earlier for VR. Who am I kidding , VR sometimes changes his snares, riddim and dubstep.
Hahaha yeah, while recording I thought the clap sounded too short or something which is why I changed it out
Barely alive is f**ing sick, its awesome!!!!!!
yep that's vr and ba, I want to see what you have offer.
Thanks!
Damn dude! This is absolutely great
Thank you!

THIS IS SIACK!!
Thanks bro!!
the barely alive drop was PRETTY NICE
My respects to all these producers who layers their basses without fuck up their CPU.
It's truly an art to be able to manage your cpu, one I have not mastered
@@NeddieOfficial what also saves you, is your not using much voices on the patches too
Yeah that definitely helps
Cripes. This is some really good work man. Great sound design
Appreciate it!
Jesus Christmas christ, this video is one of my favorite videos on UA-cam
