if its a USSSA league and 14u or younger you can use usssa bat (bat drop varies by age bracket) some 14u & 13u tournaments are BBCOR only. 15u and up, all NFHS, collegiate etc are gonna be all BBCOR. Wood bats are legal in all leagues at all levels.
SCANGANGATROOPER BOT you can use any bat as long as it has the USA stamp for Little League. Rawlings QUATRO and Louisville Solo are two of the better USA bats
They are different bats and hard to compare. They don’t make -3 USA Bats nor do they make anything lighter than a -3 in BBCOR, so there really is no way to compare them. Sorry
It depends on a few things, do you like end load or balanced bats, are you looking for contact or power, what’s your budget? I would recommend a composite demarini cf zen if you can afford it
@@RealAquaticRyan he is swinging a one piece cat 9 now. Has some power for sure. Tested out the new meta the other day and loved it. If you had to suggest an end loaded and also balanced for someone with power. What would they be. One piece or 2, composite or not doesn't matter. Thank you
@@TheBatGuru thank you he did do a demo on that one hit really well but didn't like how end loaded it was because it made it to heavy on the end and hard to get inside pitches. He like the metta which was more balanced. What do you think about that one?
Some Middle Schools allow but some don’t. You will need to check with your coach to see if your Middle School falls under High School rules. If they do, you will be required to use a BBCOR bat
BASEBALL withtheGOAT no, you cannot use USSSA in Little League Baseball. Little League adopted the USA standard. The only exception is is if your local league doesn’t follow National Rules and allows USSSA. For that you would need to check with your local league
The Bat Guru thanks much man I’ve been looking at some really good and pretty cheap bats for this fall definitely makes me happy I can use the bat I want
I love the “all the useless baseball bat knowledge I’ve acquired” line 😂
Very clear explanation. Thank you sir
Thank you so much!
Can you use a BBCOR in travel ball? I’m getting a new travel ball bat and want to know please.
thanks for the expanation
I’m moving into legion baseball next year and I’m trying to decide if I should buy a usssa cat9 -5 bat. Would it be legal in legion baseball?
Great video! Our T-ball league plays USSSA rules. Any recommendations for a USSSA bat for T-ball, or will any bat work for a 5 year old?
The lightest bat possible
What is your opinion on the marucci cat8 black? I just bought one from $300 plus tax
Great one piece alloy bat. We consider the Cat Series 8 and 9 as some of the best one piece alloy bats. Great balance and good pop.
@@TheBatGuru thanks for the response
Can you use usssa bats in u13-15 babe Ruth? Please respond because I have been trying to figure out this answer all day lol.
Nah only BBCOR or USA
my son couldn't use his bbcor in USA little league, but could use it in USSSA/PG
I’m my league which is USA pony I’m allowed to use USA or wood or bbcor
i don’t play travel ball but do you think i can use a usssa bat in 12u for just regular games?

SCANGANGATROOPER BOT you can use any bat as long as it has the USA stamp for Little League. Rawlings QUATRO and Louisville Solo are two of the better USA bats
@@TheBatGuru does it have to be a specific weight drop or any for little league
SCANGANGATROOPER BOT no just has to have the USA Stamp
@@TheBatGuru can you use the Easton beast pro -8 USA in normal little league?

The DeMarini Zoa is the bat that has really taken off this year. I will be doing a video on the technology of the Zoa tomorrow.

Do either have drop restrictions? Does a high school bat have to be -3?
Yes. High School bats have to -3 and BBCOR certified
My sons 13-15 babe Ruth team USA bat has to be a -3 or -5 I think it’s a new rule change not sure why
They acutally don't make USA bats in a -3, but around here they allow the -3 BBCOR bats to be used in some Leagues that require USA Stamp.
Can I use usssa in high school?
Baseball is BBCOR Certification only. Softball has to have ASA/USA certification for High School
Can I use usssa in middle school aau/ travel ball

Can I use bbcor in usa bat
Most leagues that require USA bats will also allow BBCOR, but you may want to double check with your league
Can my son use bbcor and ussa I 13u
I believe BBCOR is allowed but not sure why you would want to do that? USSSA bats have quite a bit more performance than BBCOR bats
