Jackson is a wonderful place. I prefer Grand Tetons to Yellowstone. But living there is off-the-hook expensive. Nearly all employees in the service industry have housing as a part of their pay, but it is sharing a room with another employee. 800SF Apts go for $3500 and up per month.

Very impressive video. Still Camping & Fishing. Went to the other shore and raided McDonalds for breakfast. Came out and some big fat 400 lb Karen had her whip in her hand saying you can't park your boat there move it or I am calling the Police. Just then 2 Rangers showed up in their Patrol Boat headed to Mc Donalds too and told her " We haven't made our quota today but if we take you in it should do for the whole month, by the way when was the last time you were Tazered"? Whips are illegal for fishing for FBI Agents! The look on her face was priceless. How she made it back up the hill I will never know. That was pretty funny considering.

There is a natural hot spring at the bottom of the waterfall from where you were. My husband and I sat in it back in 2020 and it was INCREDIBLE! I hope you go back and find it another day (it IS worth it) Love your videos, stay safe. 😊
I am designing a carbon fiber trekking pole with switchspear tip for sudden lion or bear. Puma are unpredictable but Grizzly bear can be counted on to attack if surprised, also highly likely in all encounters. Territorial and nasty tempered. Also hard to stop. Bad news. But the cinnamon phase Black bear isn't a cutie pie pet either, especially a 4-5 year old boar. They hunt animals like fauns, porcupine etc. and have killed and eaten fly fishermen. But usually just their legs. Feeling better yet?

My crappy lungs won't let me backpack above 8k ft. So, I really appreciate your videos of these high mountain passes. Also REI is opening a store in Tulsa in November. I live in southeast Kansas and know you live in Central Arkansas so we'll get a decent outdoor store.
Nice video. If you want to live there be prepared for very high expenses. I was once offered a job as assistant town engineer for a very expensive town. The pay was very high but it wouldn't have been enough to afford to live in the town. I would have had to commute a long way(not worth it). Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick

Bummer on the closed hot pool after all that work ,, but the sign did say "day use" .. I imagine that info should have been online , it looks pretty popular with the given parking areas ... Some of the biggest Mountain Lion tracks I have ever seen were in the Wind River range just to the east of your camp. Enjoy Wyoming!!!
