I saw this guy live in san diego with the original trio years ago. It was the second time I had the experience of a band moving the earth below my feet. It was still so surprising. As the concrete floor at the 4th & B theater became a rolling wave thru Daniella and Funky Tonight the audience fell into rhythm. We bounced as one watching the mics on the stage fall over and the drum kit rock in time, we all knew this was one to never forget. This band knows how to deliver a show. They will deliver a special experience every night in person.
What else is it all about?
I've also had the privilege of seeing the original trio in Sydney Australia, still the best show to date.

I found this song by accident back in 2008 and damn, best accident ever 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I forgot about it for a while but recently got a sudden urge to listen to it and it's as impressive as the first time, would love to see this live at least once in my life
I needed this song on a day like this
Universal language right!
Even truer in 2021 after over one year of Covid Lockdowns :P Soon, we will all dance togther again. Soon.
Amazing! Intro was magical.
Pretty much listen to it on repeat most days. Great combo of the lick from Devil Running and a lot of older stuff, especially around Indian Sky and Three era.
Thank you John Butker Trio for turning my day around.
Much Love🤍☄️🕊️

The man’s a straight up genius. With where the capo is he has like maybe 12 frets to work with and it sounds so complex
12 frets across 6 pairs of strings is still a 3+ octave range, it's not as limited as you're making out. He's also got the capo on 4th fret which is 18 frets range not 12 meaning he's got 4+ octaves to work with
4:12 craziest crowd moves
Great song
My man absolutely kills this shit
Yes he does, damn wish he would come close again soon....
Amazing
Ooohhhhhh that Fukin intro got me pumped.. Miss u John, hurry up and come back to Margaret's
Bloody oath brother
This song is amazingly crazy 🤪🤪🤪
You have to watch him do this song live in Japan. It was EPIC! ua-cam.com/video/QpnjqYWBcas/v-deo.html

Really nice intro part
Funky Tonight
Even better version than the Fujirock concert
Jbt rocks
He was using the Hot Rod DEville in this presentation for the 12 string guitar??????
that guy at 4:18 was so depressed xD
Benjamin Treglown he was probably higher than half the people there. 😂
The woman behind him is so beautiful! He should have turned his head ;)
Hmmm on second thought: there are only pretty girls bhind him!
Not really - he obviously had a lot of fun... ;-)
We have all been there, atleast he was not at home alone in darkness^^
Nicky Bomba back on drums? 2017?
And he's like Pat Smear from the Foo Fighters, always happy, perfect and seemingly appreciative of how he makes a paycheck. Love that drummer!!
I can't believe it either. Nicky Bomba is fantastic.
Grant had a time off so Nicky stepped up.
And John Butler is married to Bomba's baby sister.
can i please replace your drummer
