USA might have won 2 medals if he were picked to attend. Grrrrrrrr so angry!
Wow I just heard of this kid and I'm impressed! Much better skating than the so called olympic gold medallist
Much better than that 4th placer Hanyu who always falls, misses or pops his jumps because he can't do difficult jumps compared to younger skater lol.
Needs to work on his artistry, he has no flow. His spins are terrible. His arms flail, the music wasn't the best. A lot of potential, but he needs to refine the details.
Scusate , ma niente di eccezionale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My opinion why Ilia won't go to Bejing: because 1) he is not gay, 2) he is Russian.
Thank you for saying it. The gays rule figure skating in America, and that's why the quad-less gay guy was selected over the American Yuzu. American figure skating is a joke.
@@JosedeJezeus...the "American Yuzu"? Lol. Is that why Yuzuru fans like Ilia? You guys worship Yuzu so much that you would superimpose him onto another skater? Give me a break. Ilia is Ilia, and he will eventually kick Yuzuru's butt too, just like Nathan has been doing.
@@divinearia1601 i think ilias body shape is like Yuzu's, and that's why he reminds me of him. Body shape is SO important in figure skating. Only certain body types can pull of the big tricks!
Yes, the gay lobby is strong in figure skating, and those are the politics at play behind the scenes.
@@JosedeJezeus...not really. Ilia has long legs but a short torso. He's not really like Yuzuru. And Nathan has a completely different body type. He's more balanced, in terms of legs and torso length, and also more muscular. Still, he is the quad king. Pretty sure skating talent and good technique have a lot more to do with it. Fortunately for Ilia, him training under Nathan's coach and team means he will also have great technique.
are these results not a testimony to the benefits of being a nation that welcomes people from the world over???....open doors.... fewer WALLS....
