Love it! Reminds me of the original Coach saddlebag purses. And I especially love that you didn't put a lining in--just the back of the leather! That bag could be used for 50 years and will always be in style and never wear out. Still waiting for your store to open! 🤞

Immaculate work. Smell of leather. My dad met mom after serving in WW2 at a upstate NYS-USA dude horse ranch where he taught himself carved leatherwork and later alpine ski instructing. Son is Alaskan Native and his dad is last Koyukon Athabascan traditional snowshoe craftsman.

I have made it! I am very happy with it too! I made it with very soft leather, and put a 2” deep liner round top edge, incorporating a small back pocket.
Great pattern, thank you sooooo much. Sew enjoyed making it! It went together like a dream! My daughter is just waiting for me to make a strap so she can wear it, and she will be happy too! I am busy planning my next version..........

Can we just talk about that stitching? The slight slant gives the curvature a sense of movement. Your eye naturally follows the roundness of the bag. It's such a minute detail, but it really enhances the shape of the bag. Wonderful!

Just beginning my leather crafting journey but a bag is definitely a challenge I want to take on soon. I got a simple kit online that had a tiny coin pouch I made and was pretty fun. I do need some other tools it seems accounting to the video still. But my first goal is to make a bunch of leather bookmarks and see if I can sell those lol.
