Bali in general is running out of water due to rapid tourism development especially in North Bali; Kuta and Legian area. While Ubud itself is situated quite high and near Mount Agung, the locals are still relying on free freshwater pumped from the ground and the majority of them didn't have the means to acquire water subscriptions from the Government's water company. So Gorgeous! just out of curiosity when you are showing the treehouse for the first time there is a really loud noise that sounds like an alarm. Is that the jungle? And is it as loud as it seems on the video? I always wonder about how you would sleep through that or if it ends. When I stayed in Bali in Nusa Dua I got to experience the 5am bird call wake up so perhaps this is similar?
The cicadas!!! They're INSANELY loud. I think it's their mating time and that's why you hear that sound. It wasn't as loud after dark and the sound of nature just leulled me to sleep
