hi Mika from uk... I love your tango tips they are just brilliant... but im a bit confused about this heel position... many people take you into the close embrace.. and if your body is vertical standing on your heel it is true you upper half will be in close embrace position... but then how do you find space for your feet to do all the beautiful moves you yourself have taught us.. ones knees will be knocking all the time.. so I thought the slight incline forward position allows the space between the feet which give s room for the movements below waist..... this is a question I always have.. many teachers from Argentina have this posture.. of slight forward incline.....mmmm now im really confused !!!! but you are super.. this is the first time I have had a doubt about your tip!!!! I look forward to a reply;;please
Hello to you Mika from Bali, Indonesia! Thank you very much for all the useful tips you are offering us. I have a question about this posture you describe and which makes perfect sense : How can you use it when you dance in close embrace at all times? (which is my case ...). Many thanks! Wish you well. Karine
Hi Karine, thank you for your comment. Actually, with this change, you will be even closer to the other. This means, that your point of contact is not only one point of your chest, but the whole upper body... For this, it is very important to relax your ellbows. Try!! You will feel a much more intense close embrace...
@@tangotraumholidays hello Mika, thank you very much for your swift reply. I appreciate. I was concerned bybthe lack of space for the feet if I am standing very straight in a close embrace. I will try then ! Best wishes to you
