He gave her sight (intimacy=in to me, you see), let down her hair (allowed her to be authentic).. and impregnated her with a kiss (protected her essence).. Andre is next level 🚀👨🏾🚀
@@AffirmativeMindset well, he’s saying she is the prototype. She’s the black woman, he’s been searching for the original woman . & he could only impregnate her (re create himself in her) all the other women are of different “races” (not the original) woman. He’s picked up a asian child, and a old white woman & old black man, Hispanic woman and a younger white woman. When he finally found the prototype , he made her see. Her glasses were foggy, she didn’t know who she was or who he was; So he corrected her vision. He said it’s like catching the matinee ( the early bird movie ) of the original creation. You see he didn’t pro create with any of the other women , or beings… because in his scenario he couldn’t . The kiss represents “love” and combining energy. The other women / boys and man were spilling water on themselves while drinking and sleeping standing up. He was seemingly the leader looking for his other half. (The black woman) whom he then created a black child with.

Alwayssss said That 😁. Most definitely and I use to wonder in the past what type shit they were indulging in but now I definitely tuned in to the ATLiens vibe 😄
Gotta appreciate the evolution of Andre and the whole camp. They've come a long way from afros & braids kickin that gangsta style. I cant stop playing this track. Kinda sounds like Bootsy Collins and Jimi Hendrix got together

I remember listening to this album in my room the day it came out. I put this song on for my dad later that day, and immediately he says, "And the big fat bass line comes in...now." I just smiled in awe. Then he put on some records from the 70's that blew my mind. Turned me on to fusion in a big way.
Sure thing. In the way of fusion, this song kinda has a slow Stanley Clarke/George Duke vibe. I'm just gonna list some 70's fusion artists and a few of my favorite albums of theirs. If you have any specific styles you're looking for, let me know, and I'll try to point you that way. Return To Forever - Romantic Warrior (the track 'Sorceress' has a great groove) Chick Corea - Light as a Feather ('Spain' is a great track) Stanley Clarke - School Days, I Wanna Play For You Billy Cobham - Spectrum (You MUST hear this), Crosswinds, Total Eclipse, Simplicity of Expression Jean-Luc Ponty - Cosmic Messanger, Imaginary Voyage George Duke - Live on Tour in Europe, Face the Music (I like his later stuff, Chillin', Let's Roll, My Piano, etc.) Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters ('Watermelon Man' so good!), Secrets Passport - Infinity Machine (track 'Ostinato' is awesome) Al Di Meola - Elegant Gypsy, Land of the Midnight Sun Victor Wooten - Show of Hands, Soul Circus (from the 90's, but he's a great bass player. He started with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, also fantastic) As far as fusion goes, I love the deep groove, in the pocket stuff. I also really like the driving upbeat stuff, but sometimes it can get a little too out there for me. Chick Corea is great, but he plays a million notes a second, and that doesn't quite do it for me. My favorite fusion guys are Cobham and Jean-Luc. Check out that Spectrum album. The first side is driving, a million miles an hour, and the second side is real laid back, groovy stuff. It's amazing. Very raw and genuine. They did it at Electric Lady, studio in Greenwich Village built for Jimi. Awesome space. I had the privilege of working there last year. Lots of history. Anyway, check that stuff out. You're bound to dig some of it. You play? What kind of music are you into?
+Silent Echos man your a wealth of musical knowladge. thank you forbthat list. im only 20 but i grew up on ol skool music. blues and soul. but funk was somwthing i lacked in and i loved stank love and prototype by outkast and i couldnt find the styles i liked that were similar. i dont play anymore i used to play guitar but i need to re learn. i hope to one day have a career in mysic hopefuly in the aranging or production side of things. i lve listening to instruments , samples, and how they bend together and they styling.

I NEVER HEARD SUCH BULLSHIT!!!! Now Big Boi? Yeah, he doesn't get the shine he should because of 3stacks but 3stacks NEVER been underrated!!!!
For nowadays rap? I mean this definately is not rap. Thats the awesome thing about it. Andre can do multiple genres. He can sing and rap and doesnt need autotoune like most rapers nowadays. But I really dont see how this is opened up the doors for nowadays rap... even if you mean nowadays chart-trap, I dont see the connection.
song is so dope and influential. "you are the prototype" speaks so deep on why some people just choose to be by themselves after that one time they were in love that one time. their prototype proved to be malfunctioned and left the person damaged. If you're damaged, just know the actual product, is out there. hold on and be strong.
I loved this in college. Reminds me of my college gf, together 5 years. It hurt when it ended but now i realize she was a prototype. Met a woman 2 years later who would become my wife. Been together 14 years now with 2 kids. Song truly hits different now.
So this man that I'm growing feelings for, tells me to listen to this song because I've never heard it before...and now my heart is smiling :) I guess this is the message he wanted me to get. I'm his prototype...and well, he may be mines ❤️
My best friend Ibea sent me this song before he drowned while trying to save his friend on a fishing trip. Stanley Clarke - School Days, I Wanna Play For You
Billy Cobham - Spectrum (You MUST hear this), Crosswinds, Total Eclipse, Simplicity of Expression
Jean-Luc Ponty - Cosmic Messanger, Imaginary Voyage
George Duke - Live on Tour in Europe, Face the Music (I like his later stuff, Chillin', Let's Roll, My Piano, etc.)
Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters ('Watermelon Man' so good!), Secrets
Passport - Infinity Machine (track 'Ostinato' is awesome)
Al Di Meola - Elegant Gypsy, Land of the Midnight Sun
Victor Wooten - Show of Hands, Soul Circus (from the 90's, but he's a great bass player. He started with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, also fantastic)
As far as fusion goes, I love the deep groove, in the pocket stuff.
You play? What kind of music are you into?
i was tha proto type.
Silent Echos thats why i always loved outkast! hybrid old funk mixed with real rap!

Outkast was so ahead of their time. We will look back at Andre 3000 and see how he was one of the best fusion artists of old and new…. with a twist. Watching and appreciating on Thanksgiving day 2023
I loved the love below....Andre 3000 is underrated
Veronica Howard Andre is not underrated. His time has just passed, that's all. Everyone, besides maybe the very young, recognize his legendary status.
He's widely recognized as one of the greatest hip hop artist of all time.
adrian33161
Lies.
Veronica Bryant u say he's underrated?!?!?! Where da fuck u been hanging at?!?!?!? 3stacks is considered as one of the greatest MCs to ever bless a mic!!! He's NEVER been underrated!!!! I NEVER HEARD SUCH BULLSHIT!!!! Now Big Boi? Yeah, he doesn't get the shine he should because of 3stacks but 3stacks NEVER been underrated!!!!
Severely underrated
Wow. This guy is definitely strange, artistic, and ORIGINAL.
Al Rector i see alot of jimi hendrix influence
The London Thunder definitely
derrick...the day you heard this your balls finally dropped. congrats my dude
GoProJoe chill it was actually a complement. Songs like this were groundbreaking kinda opened up the doors for nowadays rap
The phrase “Stank you, very much” popped in my head. Now I’m here listening to this song for the 4th time. Funny how life works. Thank you Outkast
Stank you smelly much…
smelly much
Stank you smelly much
Just said it to my son outta nowhere, now we’re both watching and listening❤️
Stankonia is the name of the plannet that OutKast represents
His music is timeless, what a genius
The amount of beauty in this is indescribable 💕🌻

Timeless 🤘🏽👽
idol
Timeless like prince and funkadelic
Yes yes..
The happiest love song that can make you cry
I agree!
song is so dope and influential. "you are the prototype" speaks so deep on why some people just choose to be by themselves after that one time they were in love that one time. their prototype proved to be malfunctioned and left the person damaged. If you're damaged, just know the actual product, is out there. hold on and be strong.
Maup1n I love it. You are exactly right.
Maup1n 🙏🏽🙌🏾
Maup1n You just helped A Million People without taking any Medication. Wishing you a peaceful journey thru life.
I wish he did that eye shit to me. I'm sick of wearing glasses.

Beyond talented, very unique, Andre 3K is really something, we need him back on the scene for real!
I loved this in college. Reminds me of my college gf, together 5 years. It hurt when it ended but now i realize she was a prototype. Met a woman 2 years later who would become my wife. Been together 14 years now with 2 kids. Song truly hits different now.
mmmmm!!
From prototype to the one
Wishing peace and many blessings to you and your family🙏
She didn't leave; she kept the seat warm until your true love came along. God speed.
I have a similar experience.
Didn't know this song had a music video . I always imagined it would be something like this lol
lmao!
LOL
One of the most highly elevated sources out there. He definitely taps into other realms when creating music.
I truly believe that👽
If Prince was a hip hop artist it’s 3000. He is the most artistic hip hop artist of all times. Musical genius.

At that time I did not understand it but at this moment I am crying because I now know the meaning of it. Thank you Ibea Outley for being the greatest friend I ever had in my 42 years of living. May your soul continue to R. I. P. I miss you so much 💜
Every time I watch, I literally do not want the song to end....this needs to be a full length film

"Today must be my lucky day" I miss you Andre 3000 #Classic
What Andree did with Funk is totally amazing, Outkast at a whole is so talented and spiritual. Did I mention coscience, great cut!
My prototype was for other men, but she taught me to love myself again, and she put me back on the right track to walk within my purpose. It was a painful experience, and also one of my greatest life lessons. “We can’t be mad at God.” Thank You for picking me up and bringing me back to this world MB.
Huh 😳
2025 . Wow I'm really starting to see alot of what my parents/mentors were talking about. I hope everyone peeps whos really important in life and seek his righteousness everyday. Bless you all. Peace to u all
Met him. Beautiful human being.
This song was so ahead of it’s time, the vibe would give chills and make me wonder about life. I was 15 at the time and knew nothing about life.
I was 3 years old and knew absolutely NOTHING about life 🤣🤣
One of my favorite songs by Andre 3000.He was way ahead of his time. I appreciate his music. Their is no one like him.

Haven’t experienced love yet but this song reminds me that it’s out there. Whew this one makes my heart smile🥰
Well, God loves you more than anything then you could ever imagine. You just have to choose to receive it and accept it for yourself in JESUS' NAME. AMEN.
Been a while for me since I experienced it. Maybe my life will slow down eventually and I'll try it again. Blessing to u
