Grito (🇵🇹 German Cover 🇩🇪) -

I recently got so inspired by @haleighbearofficial's video of their English cover of "Grito" by @iolandamusic so I decided to jump on lyricstranslate and develop a translation to German for this song that for one fits the original's rhythm and phrasing while at the same time making sense and receiving an own identity in German.
It's kind of an imagination of an alternate universe where my country would start sending beautiful songs like that in our native language to Eurovision. :'/

@@FBA_music I'm portuguese and I was very impressed by the metric you've found adapting German to the song. For me your version suites my hears (I don't know German though). Sorry for Haleigh...! I wonder if you can modulate your voice to match the harmony made by Iolanda? Hint: although Grito is not a Fado maybe you can try to imitate Fado«s traditional entonnation. "sou chama que ainda arde, ainda arde" - I am a flame that still burns - in German I found the only way to express that you yourself are still burning would be that the fire inside you is still being felt burning. That's how we would say that 'we still burn'. So I chose 'fire'/'Feuer' instead of 'flame'.
